But what the girls don’t know is that the terrible Mr. Zonk has plans of his own to take over the world, and that entails sneaking an Enchanted Lipstick into Arika’s makeup drawer.

ONCE UPON A TiME …

Far, far, far—extremely far—away, on a super-cute planet called Cutie Patootie Face, there lived some hip and trendy alien girls named Heidi, Arika, and Olga.

They were best friends, and they lived in Cutie Patootie Land.

ICE CREAM!

It was another fabulous day in Cutie Patootie Land. Heidi and her sister, Nadia, were lounging around their living room, chatting and laughing about Heidi’s last encounter with the crazy Mr. Zonk.

Heidi said, Nadia, I wish you had been there. It was nuts! Mr. Zonk is totally crazy! He tried to ruin Arika’s, Olga’s, and my pizza party by dumping Pizza Repellant Powder into Plundering Falls Lake.

Nadia shook her head. What a creep! It’s a good thing I wasn’t there. I would have found some Mr. Zonk Repellant Powder of my own and ruined HIS party. What a weirdo.

Heidi laughed at her sister’s remark. That would have been great. Someone really needs to teach that guy a lesson.

Nadia fanned her face with a copy of Teen Cutie Patootie magazine. Boy, it sure is warm in here.

As Nadia continued to fan herself, both girls heard the music from the ice cream ship outside—Cutie Cream.

Heidi looked out the window. Let’s get Cutie Cream! Do you have any change? Hurry, before he flies away!

Nadia scurried around the living room looking under pillows and couch cushions for any lost change. Found some! She counted the coins. I have more than enough. Let’s go!

The two girls dashed out the door, and the Cutie Cream ship was still hovering above the front lawn’s flowerbeds.

Nadia read the menu. There are so many flavors to choose from: Marshmallow Pie …, Double Dreamy Berry Drizzle …, Dreamy Berry Cookie Crumbs … She asked the Cutie Cream guy, What’s your favorite flavor?

He poked his head out the window and said, I like them all. I could never pick just one. But if I had to choose only two, I’d have to go with the Butterscotch Banana Swirl and the Double Dreamy Berry Drizzle. They are, by far, my two favorites.

Heidi smacked her lips when she saw that Double Dreamy Berry Drizzle was on the menu. That was her favorite Cutie Cream flavor. Yum! I’ll have a Double Dreamy Berry Drizzle on a Cutie Cone, please, she said to the Cutie Cream guy.

Nadia added, I’ll take your word for it and go for the Butterscotch Banana Swirl, on a Cutie Cone also. Thanks.

The Cutie Cream guy smiled and said, Coming right up.

Heidi and Nadia took their cones and tried to eat them fast. It was so warm out, and they were already starting to melt.

Heidi tried turning her Cutie Cream to the side to avoid drips, but as she did that, she dropped the entire Cutie Cone on her dress.

Whoops! I can’t believe I just did that. What a mess, Heidi said.

Nadia watched the melting Double Dreamy Berry Drizzle drizzle its way down her sister’s dress. No biggie. I have a box of my Secret Stain Remover inside. It works on everything.

The girls went into the living room, and Nadia looked for her box of stain remover. "Hmmm … where did I have it last? I always keep it in obvious places so I won’t forget where it is, in case of an emergency. But still, I always seem to end up forgetting."
