This origin story of Batman is great for young children learning to read or starting to read comics. It is not incredibly long, so they can handle reading it in an afternoon if they really want to. The illustrations are similar to the 90s Animated Batman series that we know and love. The story is a quick introduction for how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, who is involved in his life as Bruce Wayne and Batman as well as his enemies in Gotham city. This comic is also great for the classroom, especially for ESL students learning to read about a beloved superhero.
