About this ebook
Chloe has never played by the rules. But when her father, the Alpha werewolf of the Aider Lock pack, decides to marry her off to a man she's never met, she decides to take matters into her own hands.
When she tries to escape, however, she runs into her dream man. Literally. And her inner wolf won't let her say goodbye without sampling a taste...
Chloe's wolf is strong, but her desire might just be stronger.
This is a short story and does not end in a cliffhanger.

Escape of the Alpha - Celia Fairchild
Part 1
The coast is clear,
whispered Anna. She was stationed at the end of the hallway, on the lookout for our father and his muscle-bound cronies.
I stuck my head out of the door, straining to hear anything. My heightened werewolf senses kicked in, and I heard the sounds of Abe McAllister shuffling off to sleep several rooms down. If I were going to escape, I would need to be absolutely silent.
I tiptoed down the hallway in my stocking feet. I had a backpack slung over my shoulder that was filled with provisions: hiking boots, protein bars, a fake ID, cash, a change of clothes. Everything you need to run away from home. When I reached the end of the hallway I reached out to take Anna's hands in mine. We wove our fingers together and exchanged one last silent goodbye. If everything went according to plan, I wouldn't see my sister again for months.
Be careful, Chloe,
she mouthed, before ducking into the darkness and sneaking back to her room. I turned right, and slinked down a hallway that housed half a dozen sleeping werewolves. One false move and a throng of 200-pound super-powered men would be on me in an instant.
I was fast and nimble thanks to my were reflexes, but I was what my friends might call 'generously proportioned' and my enemies might call 'fat.' I was used to barreling around the mansion with no regard for noise or decorum, and being silent and stealthy would take some concentration.
The mansion had been the official residence of the Aider Lock pack alpha for centuries. My father, John Dulaney, was the current alpha. He was everything an alpha should be: strong, domineering, charismatic, handsome. Women wanted to sleep with him and men wanted to follow his lead.
I just wanted to escape.
He had longed for a son and heir, and he had ended up with two daughters. No one could begrudge him his disappointment. As the eldest, I was the biggest blow to his ego; I came into this world snarling, sulky and willfully disobedient. No one was surprised when he decided to
