Q – So, what makes your shifter romances special?

A – It’s a mixture of things, actually.  When I started writing these books, I wanted to create a series of books that I would love to read.  I love paranormal romances and shifter love stories, but I also love books with some action, danger, suspense, and a strong female character.  I try to roll all of these interests into my books.

My shifter books are a mix of romance, sex, longing, danger, and mystery.  I also try to create some really memorable settings, whether it be historical, fantasy, or present-day, that I hope readers will enjoy.

Q – What else do you like to write?

A – I love other paranormal genres, such as vampires, psychics, and ghosts.  I have a vampire/psychic suspenseful romance series, called Remembering Raven.  These books take place in New Orleans where there is an evil vampire orchestrating murders of young women.  The psychic heroine and her vampire soul mate re-connect after being separated centuries ago to try to solve the murders. There are six books in the series, including the prequel.  They are called:

• Remembering Raven: Cheyenne

• Remembering Raven: Sabine

• Remembering Raven: Allegra

• Remembering Raven: Nanette, and

• Remembering Raven: Juliana

Geoffrey Woodsworth had never been good at first impressions, but even he could count the first time he met Miss Regina Lily among the worst he had ever made. He still felt half an animal, wrists raw from being chained into silver manacles all night, and the absence of a razor meant there was an embarrassing amount of hair sprouting from his chin and jaw. To top it all off, his veins burned with need, not for blood, but for something far more addicting. He was in the middle of damning his cousin Henry straight to hell when there was a brusque knock on the door to his room. Why do they bloody bother, he thought snidely. It's hardly as though I can refuse them entry. That had better be Hanson with a razor.

The door opened. It's about bloody time you showed up, Geoffrey said, still feeling irritated from the previous night. I haven't had a decent shave in- He turned and choked on his words. Hanson was there all right but he was most certainly not alone. Geoffrey sniffed automatically and caught the scent of rosewater and lavender just overshadowing the metallic tang of blood. He drank in the sight of his visitor.
