    CASSIDY

I rolled over in bed, stretching my limbs slowly, letting out a long, slow yawn. I had that feeling of contentment that comes from having slept in your own bed after being away from home for a while. It was a feeling I loved.

Sunshine was pouring in through the curtains and I could tell by the daylight that it was mid-morning. I caressed the softness of my sheets, the down comforter and nuzzled my nose into the pillow, appreciating the scent of being home.

Mmmmmmm… I murmured to myself, luxuriating.

Rolling over, I found Abe was still asleep. He slept on his back, one arm resting on his torso, the other hitched up over his head, resting on the pillow. He looked as peaceful as a babe.

    Eye candy.

The man was pure eye candy.

We’d arrived home late last night. The long flight from Jackson Hole airport had been less than pleasant as we’d flown through a rain storm or two. I just remembered lots of rocky bumps and at some point, gobbling down some relaxants with a couple of cocktails. Naturally, I’d passed out on Abe’s shoulder, embarrassed to find I’d drooled on him a bit when I woke up.

Thankfully, we’d reserved a private SUV at the airport to get us back home instead of waiting for a taxi. I somewhat remembered Abe chatting it up with the driver who was amused at my less-than-sober state.

Now, here I was, at home and in bed.

    With my fiancé.

    My bear-shifter fiancé.

I followed his happy trail of body hair, ever-so-lightly with my finger, down to where his boxers hugged his
