About this ebook
Leila Exeter seemed like a normal girl in a normal situation. She was the new kid on the block at Crutchfield University where the students were snobby and cliquish, donning strange black clothes.
Little did Leila know, the school held quite a few secrets that would slowly reveal themselves. Lucky for Leila, she finds friendship in her roommate, Kerry and her classmate, Johnathon. She will need someone to trust as strange things slowly began to happen.
First, Leila begins to notice a very ancient looking library at the university that catches her attention. One night, when she is anxious to explore this building, she notices that a female student is being accosted by some male students.
She also notices her friend Johnathon has come to her rescue, fleeing with the girl from the library. Leila discovers that the library holds the entrance to another realm, one in which dark powers are beginning to take control.
Soon, Leila will come to realize that many of the students and faculty are attempting to bring about the return of an evil ruler to the secret realm and that they possess supernatural qualities there.
Will she and her friends be able to help prevent the evil plot or become victims of it themselves?

Part 1 : Revelation
Part 1:
Leila Exeter got out of her parents car and looked at the gothic buildings that towered all around her. Not only was it the first time she had been to Crutchfield University; but it would also be the first time that she had stayed away from her parents for any length of time. Leila was tall, had deep blue eyes, long brown hair and a slim; but curvaceous figure. She was the spitting image of her mother, Lucy Exeter when she was this age. Her eyes held a mixture of innocence, curiosity, and worry as her family walked with her through the beautiful campus. It was built of rose marble that had been mined locally and consisted of lots of old gothic towers that lent the place an heir of mystery and ancient wisdom.
For months, Leila told her parents that she wanted to attend Emory University for their Biology program. All her life, she was one of those nature lovers who took every opportunity she had to walk amongst the woods and study the creatures she encountered. She wanted to become a wildlife Biologist; but every time she discussed this with her parents, they tried to steer her towards the medical field. Her father was a doctor of eastern medicine; but was also licensed to practice traditional medicine. He would always tell Leila that she had the same talents as a healer that he possessed although she didn’t know it yet. She would roll her eyes and let her mind wander to far off places where she could study the wild orangutans of Sumatra or the herds of elephants in Thailand.
You will understand your talents and gifts with time,
he would say and her mother would agree and nod her head. After a while, Leila just wished they would shut up about it. It was as if they just weren’t listening to her when she told them what she wanted to study in school and what she wanted to be.
The tour guide was a senior student named Adelaide Cartwright who wore a fancy black suit and had dark eyes and raven black hair. Leila immediately thought she had an untrustworthy heir about her, although she was quite beautiful and eloquent.
First of all, let me welcome you to Crutchfield University, founded by the famous Dr. Crutchfield in 1847. Over here to your right we see the student canter and the dining hall,
she said as she pointed to a cluster of more modern-looking buildings to their right. Leila immediately looked at the students that walked in and out of the building. The first thing that seemed odd to her was the fact that many of the students liked to wear black. There were guys in black polo and button-down shirts and the girls wore lots of black dresses. These students seemed to come from wealth; and the clothes they wore looked to be designer brands. There were also other students who wore other colors of clothes that she noticed. Most of these students seemed to band together and not mix with the more posh students in their fancy black clothes. She immediately thought that there was something quite odd about this.
Black really seems to be in,
she said as their tour guide looked over at her. She swore that Adelaide seemed to look through her with those cold, icy eyes.
Black is the official school color,
Adelaide answered her coldly.
Hmm, that’s interesting, it was blue and white when I went here,
Leila’s dad said.
Yes, there have been some changes that have about over time,
Adelaide said as if she had been around to see them.
Over here, we have the Biology department,
she said as she motioned towards an old stone building with a large bell tower.
This is where I’ll be spending most of my time,
Leila said as she smiled at her parents. They smiled back at her.
Now, let me show you the dorms where you will be staying,
she said in her knowledgeable but detached manner.
They walked past the Biology Department towards the dorm rooms. As the students passed the touring group, many eyes fell on Leila. Many of the guys eyed her up and down as if they were undressing her with their eyes. It made her feel a bit uncomfortable. Many of the girls
