About this ebook

There is no escaping love ...

TWO WEEKS
Marcus knew from the moment he laid eyes on this woman sleeping in her car on the roadside, that there was more to her. He longed to run his fingers through her sexy long auburn locks and enjoy the company of her body but only for a weekend... he was not into fulltime.
He soon had a hold over her. She obeyed his every wish, as if he had cast some sort of spell over body and soul...

FOREVER MORE
Broken down, late and Sam was tired – a bed at a nearby cattle property was welcome. She gratefully accepted the offer of the elderly couple who had so kindly stopped to assist. She had not counted on their son, Rock.
Their eyes met steely grey eyes, kissable lips and all male under those blue jeans. The attraction was instant, soon becoming a night of passion, a night that turned into much more...

DIFFERENT WORLDS
As soon as he laid eyes on her body, Sven saw Kristy as a challenge. His pursuit was never going to be easy; she was a spontaneous woman ...most certainly not the kind to be controlled.
Little by little she had come around to his way of life, until she realised they lived in two different worlds and could never co-exist.
Would he accept no as an answer?

    BOOK THREE –

    DIFFERENT WORLDS

All the characters are fictitious and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental

    Chapter ONE

Tiffany opened the door and slid out of the car.

‘Come on Kristy, it will be fun, you should get out more…’

Kristy had only agreed to the night out to help Tiffany. She was past caring or wanting to meet people, men as far as she was concerned didn’t make it in her world. What she wanted and needed only existed in her fantasy world. She needed a strong man one who could take control and not be intimidated by her. Not that she was by any means scary, just strong minded and awfully impulsive.

Then again when she thought of it any man who tried to control her too much would come up short. So there lay her dilemma, if she did not know what she wanted how could she ever expect some poor male to understand. It would all become too messy, so until she had it clear in her own mind, dating was out of the question.

Tiffany dragged Kristy in through the front door to The Lion nightclub. ‘Come on, look at all the hunky guys waiting for us.’

‘One hour Tiffany,’ she replied ‘and then I’m out of here, so make sure you find your prince and hook up fast.’

Tiffany smiled pointing, ‘What about that guy, he looks like your type?’

Shaking her head, she replied, ‘Tiffany get real, that kind of guy could have anyone woman half his age, and wouldn’t look once in the direction of a woman like me.’

She handed in her coat at the front desk to reveal a little black dress and patent black leather stilettos.

Kristy made the bar after pushing through the crowd to order a drink. ‘Champagne please,’ Kristy mouthed.

‘Let me get that for you,’ said a silky smooth deep voice from behind her, albeit a little too close for comfort. So much so that she could feel his hot breath on her neck.

The hair on her arms instantly stood to attention and she stiffened. It was hot all of a sudden; a wave of heat enveloped her body. She swallowed and turned around to see who the voice belonged to. She had to tilt her chin up to look into the eyes of the man Tiffany had pointed out earlier. Shivers ran up and down her spine. Involuntarily she licked her lips nervously as she drew in a slow breath.

Where had Tiffany got to; she was right behind her a minute ago. Looking past the stranger she spied her dancing with some guy on the dance floor. She had forgotten the man standing in front of her for a moment.

Taking a breath as she gazed into the man’s eyes. ‘No thank you, I won’t need it after all.’ She turned to walk away.

He caught her arm. ‘Please indulge me in one drink.’

The look of desire in his eyes stopped her in her tracks …what was it about him that caught her attention? He steered her back to the bar.

Again her skin was on fire and this time the tingling sensation made it was all the way down to her feet. His eyes bore down into her own; her jaw clenching, she was not used to being manhandled. She narrowed her eyes and was about to open her mouth but he placed a finger on her lips, closing them.

He picked up the glass of champagne and handed it to her, their fingers met on the stem. She cast her eyes down to where their fingers where now entwined, her lips parted as she frowned, trying to understand these feeling. Hot and cold shivers running up and down her body. She looked back up enjoying the image of the man that stood before her. He had the most stunning deep blue eyes. It reminded her of the seas she had seen in the waters around Port Douglas. His facial features were those of a man used to getting his own way.

A chiselled chin and two dimples off to the sides of his mouth appeared as his lips tuned upwards. He smiled with his eyes, and a smirk appeared as he watched her take in his features. He was damn good-looking and he knew it, too good-looking for her liking, not the kind of man you spend a lifetime with, but exciting nevertheless. As Tiffany would say… he would do for a night.

He let go of the glass once he was satisfied she had hold of it and picking up his, he chinked her glass.

‘Cheers,’ he said, his eyes never leaving hers.

He watched as she moved the glass to her mouth, her lips parted as she took a sip. She was as hot as all hell. Her striking brown eyes glaring back at him, her jaw set; she was defining him, and this woman was no shrinking violet. He liked the way her tongue came out to caress her lips and mop up the champagne droplets, instantly turning him on.

He held her gaze as he too took a sip, his gut tightening; having his way with her would be all the more sweet, the victory of having her submit to his will. She drained her glass and set it down on the bar not wanting to continue this game anymore.

‘Thank you.’ She moved to walk away once more.

She needed to get as far away from this man as possible. Her senses were yelling at her that she was somewhat out of her depth with this guy. Even though he had excited her more in the last five minutes than any man had in the last five years, she headed for the door.

Pushing through the crowd she managed to make it to the dance floor to let Tiffany know she was leaving, but instead ending up being pulled onto the floor.

‘Just one dance before you go… Pleassee…’

Tiffany started bumping her hips against Kristy’s. It was one of her favourite tunes, so she started to sway with the music at first then pumped the air in time with the beat as she got into it more. It did feel good to let her hair down every now and then. Two dances later she said goodbye to Tiffany and pushing her way back through the crowd she headed for the exit.

Nearing the front door, she noticed the man from the bar. Seeing her approach he lent against the exit.

‘Allow me,’ he said. His eyes lazily made their way down from her face to her feet and back up. A smile touched his lips as his eyes met hers, squinting once again. She did not like being ogled; she arched an eyebrow at him as a warning. It made him smile even more, showing a row of stunning perfect teeth as he took a slow breath in. She had his attention in all the right ways and he was not going to let her get away.

She stepped through the door were he stood holding it open, she could smell his cologne, and it only added to the heat she felt for this manly beast. Her body temperature was rising by the second. Their eyes met again. She felt she could easily get lost in the seas blue. Taking a deep breath, she stepped past saying, ‘Goodnight.’

As she walked out the door into the midnight air, she stopped to breath in the freshness, trying to settle her emotions. She felt as if she had just been stripped raw; that man had her senses all jumbled. ‘Bugger,’ she said out loud, her eyes narrowing as she remembered her jacket.

Shaking her head, she bit her lower lip and walked back in. He was still standing in the foyer as if waiting for her to return. ‘Miss me already’ he said cheekily.

She felt herself be drawn into his wit, shaking her head with a smile that had just reached her lips.

‘How could I resist… but sorry, no.’

Turning to the desk attendant she asked for her jacket. He handed it over the counter with a smile, but her eyes where focused on her male companion.

‘Allow me.’ He said as he secured the jacket.

She contemplated grabbing it and maybe running out as fast as she could. As if reading her mind, holding it fast he motioned for her to turn around. The determination in his eyes and his set jaw told her he was not going to take no for an answer. Okay, she would allow him this pleasure.

She turned around to place her arm in the left side then the right; he turned her around to face him. She watched as he adjusted her collar running his fingers along her neckline. His fingers felt cool against her skin, soft and sensual. The tingling sensation was again sending shivers all the way through her body.

He stopped playing with her buttons to look back up into her eyes, knowing the effect he was having on her. Oh yes, he knew how to make a woman tick and she would be putty in his hands. He just knew it.

‘Thank you,’ she said. Again her mouth felt dry.

She headed for the door. He opened it so she could walk through and he followed her outside.

‘Why don’t you come have a drink with me?’ His voice, as smooth as silk, held her gaze. Tempting as he might be she was not ready to go any further with anyone; it would all be too complicated.

‘Rain check,’ she said as she walked away.

Okay, so he would allow her that much but rain check meant exactly that and he would get his check. He watched her open the door of her car; nice car but not the usual car a woman would drive.

He licked his lips. Yes, this woman was an interesting quest, he could sense that she was a little different to most. He took down her number plate; it would be easy to track as he imagined there weren’t too many Red Camaro’s with the number plate ‘AMOUR’.
