Does God Have a Son?

About this ebook
Christians claim that God has a Son. The Qur'an plainly states that God has no Son. How can we know which is true? This booklet explores that answer through history, logic, the Bible and the Qur'an. This short study deals with facts and reason, not religious assertions, so the basis of this sensitive discussion may rest on the principle of truth seeking.

Foreword
I was asked by a Muslim friend, Christianity says God has a son. How can this be?
I thought I gave a reasonably good explanation, but I was not sure he understood everything I had to say. I have a tendency to speak quickly when I am excited, and the weight of the question requires the ability to think things out in order to see things properly. So here I have tried to express myself more fully.
Some of the topics discussed here are sensitive. Matters of religion can be a dangerous subject of discussion, even among friends.
Friends share their knowledge to help each other grow. Knowledge is given in the pursuit of Truth. As seekers of the Truth, we must be willing to discuss plainly and openly. A Truth-seeker must have a greater love for Truth than for being right. We must follow where the evidence leads with a sincere heart and an open mind.
I pray this can be read without offense.
May God lead us to know Him.
