About this ebook

Part 3 of The Auctioneer Serial, a New Adult BDSM Erotic Romance.

The games have begun.

Looks to tempt, touches designed to tease...

Pleasure and punishment has come in the form of training.
As Kate is drawn further into Daire’s world, she struggles to keep her feelings purely professional. The glittering world that Daire now belongs to is far removed from the one they both shared once upon a time.
Kate knows that Daire is dangerous, and her heart doesn’t need the vulnerability feelings for him could bring. But with every touch drawing her in deeper, and every taste feeding an addiction that could destroy her, can Kate continue the contract without losing her heart?

I took a deep breath, ready to face whatever was awaiting me, and rapped on the door.

Thought I might have to go and get you myself, Daire said as he pulled open the door.

The sight of him took my breath away.

Holy hell, he’s like sex on legs!

Dressed in a three piece charcoal suit full with a matching waistcoat, and a dark green silk tie neatly knotted at his neck, he looked like a Greek god poured into James Bond’s wardrobe. The man looked like the epitome of sex and danger.

I somehow managed to roll my tongue back into my mouth and stepped through the door, those butterflies in my stomach going as crazy as my pulse. Did you have a meeting this morning? I asked, trying to make my voice sound casual, and not breathless.

Why do you ask? He closed the door behind me.

You’re looking more, uh, fancy than usual.

Daire raised a dark brow and grinned. Your blush tells me you approve.

I felt myself redden further but tried to ignore it and shrugged. I know how to appreciate beautiful things. I also know to appreciate them from afar when they’re deadly.

"Too bad you’ve contracted to stay very close to me then. He leaned close enough that I felt his breath pass my ear. But I promise, I’m not a danger to you."

And I suddenly knew what a lie that was. He was dangerous, especially to me. It would be all too easy for me to get caught up in this—in him—and I knew that if I wanted to come out of this with my heart intact, I had to remember this was nothing more than a contract between us.
