The large screens offered by desktop computers are usually best for photo-editing work.

The digital photography boom has spurred most amateur photographers to replace film labs and darkrooms with computers and printers. Not only does digital deliver faster results, you have more control over the end product than ever before. Simply upload your images to a computer. Then adjust them and print them out in a fraction of the time it would have taken you to go to the store to have your film developed and prints made.
