Truth be told, there is no way to guarantee a happy outcome in a bullying situation. There are however, some tried and tested principles and strategies to which one can resort when facing this highly stressful challenge. It is possible therefore, through preparation and rehearsal become better equipped to deal with bullying. At the same time, one can acquire the confidence and poise needed to successfully employ the strategy developed when faced with a bully(s). This resource book depicts an illustrative example in which Kenroy endeavors to apply what he has been taught concerning how to deal with the bully 'Stretch'. The account is followed by some talking points for interactive bibliotherapy individual or group sessions, a group facilitation plan, and a creative writing exercise designed to assist participants in developing a personal strategy and the confidence to deal with bullying in a thoughtful and dignified manner.
