Chapter One

Nichelle Turner sat with her chin propped on one palm, staring across the hotel bar at the object of her undying affection, Colin Sinclair.

God, he was beautiful, she thought with a sigh. It was times like this, when there was no one around to observe her, that she got her fill of undressing him with her eyes. His custom tailored, navy silk suit fit his large frame to a T, accentuating his broad shoulders and narrow hips. He’d finally gotten relaxed enough from celebratory drinks to loosen his tie, and seeing the occasional peek of black hair peeping from his striped shirt was enough to send lust filled thoughts swarming her head and flutter in her belly.

Intelligence emanated from his dark blue eyes along with a wicked sense of humor. Rakish black hair curled around his collar and fell across his forehead, just begging for her fingers to run through it. He’d shaved before coming down for the celebration, and that attention to detail about his appearance only made her want to ruffle him up and get him very dirty.

She had this fantasy about spoiling his good boy image with lots of kinky, freaky sex. Not that she’d ever had a chance to be a bad girl, but there was something about the clean and straight-laced Mr. Sinclair that made her want to be very, very bad.

Unfortunately, she had to be very, very good.

If he knew she even existed beyond running the office errands, she would have been surprised. She was lucky to have gotten her entry level position after graduating from college. She’d paid the bills waitressing, and had thought it would be a slam dunk to get a job with a bachelor’s degree. How wrong she’d been! As much as she enjoyed looking at her hunky boss, she knew doing, thinking, or saying she wanted anything more could land her right back out on the street and back into the job she’d despised for the past several years.

Kinky dreams aside--that was something she wasn’t willing to risk happen.

It’d been difficult to keep the fact that she wanted to jump his bones at the first opportunity a secret at the office. She wasn’t ruled by her crotch, fortunately, so she was able to keep her pining for the boss a secret for the most part.

Kept it a secret from everyone except her best friend, Randy. Randy was good at ferreting the truth out of her when he wanted to. He had an uncanny ability to read her mind. Or maybe it was just that they were on the same wave length after being close friends for the past year.
