Jwyan C. Johnson
Years ago, author and award-winning poet Jwyan C. Johnson wrote the script to a cartoon. The story starts off with a police chase to a giant dictionary: the home of our vocabulary words. Cops break down the cover, and they all rush in with their weapons drawn. And as they move around inside this book, we learn that they’re looking for one specific word: a simple 9-lettered noun. It has been bragging about its countless offenses committed against our society, against mankind. Surprising unarmed, and not dangerous, this specific word simply turns us against each other.Detectives follow the "alphabetical” directions to the right page, the right column and the right row, only to discover that this word has disappeared! Nowadays this divisive word lives inside our minds if we let it! The accomplished mystery writer reveals that "ignorance” was the word the police were after. The creative writings of Jwyan C. Johnson aim to biblically "protect and serve” the mind state because "ignorance is still at large in our society!” And with his latest kingdom-seeking contribution, Christian Parables, there are some places where ignorance no longer resides so we can win back each other.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised at the content of this book. I really enjoyed the unique way to present scripture in a fun and encouraging way. Can't wait to put the play on with the grandkids and their friends. Great Work!!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a unique way to teach about faith. It was also a unique way to get people to study and memorize scripture. The symbolism in this book was fabulous. The book is set up so you can click on the scripture and read it right then and there or you can read it all before or after reading the story. I myself clicked on it as I read. Then I went back and reread the story. This is a different way to get people into the scriptures. For family devotions or youth groups, there is a script so that they can actually put on this skit.I received a copy to facilitate my review. The opinions expressed here are my own.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I received a review copy through 'Member Giveaway'This book contains two short sketch stories with additional informative and explanatory material. It requires copious amounts of spell checking and would benefit from thorough proof reading to find all the examples of misused words; "undue" instead of "undo" etc.The actual stories are imaginative though lack substance. The relationship between the sentence/idea/concept and the attached scriptural reference is often unclear and remains unexplained. The additional material is written in overexcited, breathy sentences which heightens the feeling of shallowness.I was excited by the concept but wouldn't consider using the product as it stands with my youth.

Faith & The Blindfold
The Parable of The Blindfold
Thomas tilts with his telephone in the early morning, preparing to leave a message.
"Yes hello… I’m a patient at The Lucky Ones Clinic. And I need to cancel my appointment today with my doctor, Lady Luck. Something came up. But I have enough of your 4-Leaf-Clover Cream to last me until we can reschedule. Thanks! Bye."
Thomas drops the phone next to a map he is still starring at, along with a business card he kept, matching the addresses. And practically tip-toeing to his car, Thomas proceeds out of town to the new destination.
Hi!
a hospital clerk greets Thomas as he arrives inside, can I help you sir?
Good morning! I’m Thomas Walker and have an appointment with Doctor Powers.
Sure! Please follow me to the office.
Thomas continues to look around ensuring he’s not noticed by anyone from his town.
Good morning,
the new Doctor walks inside, is it Thomas Walker?
Dr. Powers,
Thomas says shaking her hand. Thanks for agreeing see me.
"My pleasure. But we’re on a first name basis her. Please just call me Faith.
You got it! Faith, I heard about you through my friend Christian. She tells me you’re the best!
Well it’s actually a team effort,
Faith smiles. Let’s make it your turn to feel better! How can I help?
"Well my skin type is extremely sensitive to sunlight. And I live in a desert, with no real way to block it! Until I can afford to move, I’ve been using a medicated 4-Leaf-Clover Cream to lessen the effects."
Wow,
Faith says, someone must have to really ‘lay it on thick!
"Yeah, my original doctor does. It helps a little, but it’s really
