About this ebook
Earnie and Debbie Heatwole have developed another tool to help couples break through logjams of emotional areas where communication escalates and no resolution appears to exist. Their step by step method that is explained in this workbook will help any couple to listen and communicate and break through the barriers in order to identify solutions to ongoing issues. Most couples have those topics that are emotionally charged and always seem to end in hurtful words when discussed. Couples may have a difference of opinion, different priorities, or just see the situation from a different viewpoint.
There are 2 sections, the first explains how to prepare to have a conversation by understanding feelings, managing words used while speaking, how to be open to listen more effectively and understanding each others needs. The second section outlines the 4 major steps to having the conversation and working towards a resolution. Earnie and Debbie have seen this methodology help 100's of couples to come to a better understanding of their spouse and often to easily reach a resolution once all the issues were understood. Learning how to communicate effectively can change the health of your marriage in a very positive way.
