What Your Pastor Didn’t Tell You About The Prosperity Message
()
About this ebook
After over a decade of sowing, sacrificing and standing on God’s promise for prosperity, I was barely making ends meet. I sought God for the answers, retracted my steps, did a self-examination and conducted an extensive study on the prosperity message. What I found in my study was so shocking, I had to share it so that others won’t fall victim to the manipulation I experienced. What your pastor didn’t tell you about the prosperity message is the reason many Christians are still waiting for their financial breakthrough. It is the key that unlocks the door to increase and closes the door to ignorance. This is not an anti-prosperity or an anti-prosperity preacher book; it is simply the truth about money, ministry and misconceptions that are hidden within the prosperity message.
This book will change both your mind and your actions when it comes to acquiring wealth. The questions and concerns you’ve always had about the prosperity message will be answered and you can finally live life the way God intended!

This book was written for those of you who have heard the prosperity message, acted on the principles, but have yet to come to a place of financial freedom. If you believe that it is God’s will for you to prosper, but you have genuine questions and concerns about the procedures, practices, precepts and principles that govern the message of prosperity this book is dedicated to you.
"I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called — his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance."
Ephesians 1:18
An Apology to You Ahead of Time
I need to apologize, ahead of time, as I know that I may seem to come off like a maverick in what you’re about to read. I do it for one reason and one reason only:
I don’t want you to make the same mistakes I did!!!
I truly want you to be as successful as the Word of God says you can be and believe, without a doubt, that what you are about to read will change your life!
You do not need to agree with what I am about to share. However, I do ask that you have an open mind and seriously consider the information I have gathered about the prosperity message. I know from experience that what I am about to share with you will help you tremendously. In fact, I wish someone had been bold enough to write about this topic years ago. I would not have wasted so much time trying to figure this out on my own. Nevertheless, revelation is here now, in written form, for those who will receive it.
Before reading this awesome book, I Must Offer You A … WARNING!!!!!
• If you expect me to sugar coat the realities of the prosperity message … STOP READING!
• If you do not want me to call pastors to the carpet on some of their tactics when it comes to sowing and reaping … STOP READING!
• If you are expecting to hear the same old stuff you have heard preachers say year after year regarding the secret keys to living the abundant life … STOP READING!
One thing I can promise you is that I will not pull your leg and give you "fluff!" I cannot stand it when preachers only give you the happy ending and not the stuff in between. Why? It is the stuff in between that can weaken your faith. It is the stuff in between that kept me broke and trying to figure out why the principles I was taught were not working for me.
My style is direct, controversial, and straightforward and I don’t pull punches. My intentions are to give you the missing components to the prosperity message, so that you can make the proper adjustments in your heart, in your mind and in your actions. I think you will like the fact that I am direct and to the point. I am sure you and I are a lot alike… you want the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We want a clear understanding of what God promises. I think you will appreciate someone who is simply going to cut through the junk and tell you what you need to know. Sometimes in life we need someone to be direct and tell us something we may not like to hear, but NEED to hear.
I can compare this to eating a big salad. It may not taste as good as a big, juicy hamburger or a steak dinner but you know it is good for you and that it is improving your health.
The same is true of the information I am about to share with you. It may not taste as good as the messages you have heard in the past. However, I guarantee you will be 100% better once you gain a full understanding of what I am trying to say. I truly care about helping you grasp the big picture and about living your life the way God intends!
Are you ready? … Hope so … because the information I am about to share with you is priceless and will help you finally receive the increase you have been waiting for! Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this awesome powerful book!
Introduction
People have asked, Why are you writing a book on such a controversial topic? What is your real motivation in doing this? Are you angry that the all of the promises of God haven’t shown up in your life yet? Are you trying to blow the whistle on the ministries you have come in contact with; or are you simply trying to make a buck?
The answer to ALL of the above questions is, NO!
I wrote this book because I want to help people avoid making the same mistakes I did. I love and respect the people in the pulpit, but my heart is always to see the people in the pews grow in the things of God.
Through the years, I have come to know some extraordinary people within the Body of Christ. I have been exposed to people with great hearts, brilliant minds and exceptional talents, who are knowledgeable in the Word yet they are still struggling financially. I know people who are so disciplined that they pray for an hour every day. I met a lady who reads the Bible for
