Brooke arched her head back to look out the window at the rapidly darkening sky. The once blue October sky had turned pink and now was quickly turning gray. She was tired, she was hungry and she was cold. Tired because she hadn’t slept more than a few hours in the last couple of days, hungry because she was too preoccupied to eat and cold because – well, because she was tied naked to the bed of her now sleeping landlord.
