A devastatingly handsome man stared right back at her, with one thick eyebrow raised. His eyes were as black as coal, just like his hair and his immaculately trimmed facial hair. He was very tall with broad shoulders, and towered over Christy, making her look tinier than usual. Hearing a cough, she immediately looked back up at his face, his eyebrow still raised, looking at her expectantly.
