Ann got awoken by her foster mother, Regina Jordan, bursting into her room to yell, Get your lazy ass up out that bed, cook breakfast for the twins and Fred, and make sure they get on that school bus. I’m already running late for work. I have to get across that bridge before the traffic picks up.
