Three women find themselves coming together after their husbands are killed, one by one. What they all once knew as the luxury life quickly comes to an end when a man who is said to be worse than death itself shows up at their doorsteps. If they want to make it out alive, they must work together.

Trouble is only one of the three women who owes this debt. But it's something about her that makes her different from the rest, and it isn’t her age. Real love is what she’s always craved and for some reason she feels like Kryme may be the one who can give it to her despite the way he comes storming into her life.

Kryme is out to get what he is rightfully owed, and he will stop at nothing to get it. While the others are more willing to comply with his terms, Trouble gives him trouble. Yet somehow, she piques his interest anyway. The only problem is, there is no love in business and he's going against all his own rules when it comes to her. Loving a hustler is easy, but the other side of it could be deadly.

Palm Beach, Florida

Ihad just returned to Florida from Cuba when I got a phone call from my father. I didn’t even have time to shower or anything because he requested that I come straight to see him. I tried not to get pissed because I was literally in my driveway when I got his call. I had been working nonstop for him over the last few months. He would usually give me some time to myself, but with everything that had been going on, I hadn’t been able to catch a break. Shit, I hadn’t even had time to get my dick wet by a lil’ freak because of this nigga.

I knew there was work to be done, but that wasn’t my problem at all. My problem was that I didn’t have any time for my fucking self. I was doing everything, and I didn’t understand why he was still calling himself the boss. At this point, I was the boss and I was getting sick of waiting for him to pass his empire over to me. I felt like if I was going to be the one handling everything, then it was about that time. For some reason, my father didn’t see it that way. It was always just do this or that and then the empire will be yours. Well, I had been doing this and that since the day I turned sixteen. I’m twenty-four now and the empire still isn’t mine.

My mother was killed twenty-four years ago when she was pregnant with me. She had gotten shot because of some shit that my father had done. He couldn’t play his role and he was too greedy for money. He went out and killed the man that was supplying to the entire west and east coast. In return, my mother was killed in the crossfire of someone trying to kill my father. The doctors couldn’t save her, but they were able to save me. I came into this world coldhearted and I knew I would be going out the same way.

I didn’t have love for any woman walking this earth. I never got to meet my mom and the shit had fucked me up. Once I found out the true story about what happened to my mother, love was some shit that I never wanted. I never wanted to allow myself to be weak over a woman. Nor did I ever want a woman to be so weak for me that she risked her own life just to be with me. A lot of shit came with loving a hustler and I felt like no woman had what it took to be with one. They may have thought they did, but I knew better.

Therefore, I stayed far away from that love shit. It would only cloud my judgment and get in my way. I worked too much for that shit anyway, so I was good as long as I had a little freak to ride my dick whenever I wanted. My options were endless when it came to that because I was the man around my way. These hoes would swallow my dick whole if I wanted them to. That’s why they weren’t shit to me but that; hoes. Every last one of them!

Anyway, I finally pulled up to my father’s estate that was like ten miles away from society. He had it that way for numerous reasons. I parked my car and then got out. I had a little dap when I walked so I dapped my ass all the way to the front door before letting myself in. I walked to the den where I knew he would be sitting in front of the television. When I walked in, he turned around and looked at me before I even made my presence known. One thing about my father was he heard EVERYTHING. The nigga couldn’t see worth a damn without his glasses, but his motherfucking ass could hear like he was a damn dog.

Take a seat, he said. His ass ain’t bother to greet me, ask me how I was or anything, but I was used to that shit. Everything was business with my father.

What’s up? What is so important that I needed to come straight over here? I questioned as soon as I was seated.

You will be going to Atlanta next. This is a big task though, so I’m going to need for you to listen carefully. He grabbed the remote to the television and turned it off.

This is what the fuck I was talking about. I had just gotten back, and he was already ready to send me somewhere else to handle business. I guess I still wouldn’t be catching a damn break, but I’d be alright. Afterall, I was always down to get my hands dirty.

Talk to me.

You remember two months ago when I told you about them three niggas who had all been killed, one by one?

Yeah, I remember.

Well as you know, we were supplying all three of those guys, and all three of them owed us a good bit of money. I gave the shit time to die down, but I know I want my fucking money and I’m sure you want yours too. I’ve done my research and I know exactly how we’re going to get the damn funds that they owe us.

What you want me to do? Go dig their bodies up, bring their asses back to life, and then make them give us our shit? I didn’t know where his ass was going with all of this.

I told my father when them niggas first died that we needed to get up there. We didn’t know what the fuck happened or where our money was at. If they weren’t already dead, I would have killed them myself. He didn’t listen though and wanted to give shit time to die down. I didn’t see the point in that. The more time we waited, the more likely it was for us to never get our money.

Now he wanted to talk about doing something. I’d always hated how shit had to be his way or no way. Things were going to be different this time, though. Once I got to Atlanta, I was going to be doing shit my own damn way. I didn’t give a fuck about whatever he had to say. This shit could have been resolved two months ago, but since he was sending me now, I was moving how I wanted. But he ain’t need to know that shit.

All three of those guys were married.

And?

And after looking into some shit, I discovered that their widows are all still living the lavish life. How the fuck are they living lavish when those niggas owed us so much money?

I don’t fucking know. I guess those niggas were holding out on us. I told you before any of them was killed that you needed to let me go handle them. Shit always has to be your way though. At least we would have had our money before they kicked the fucking bucket.

This is my empire and I run it how I want. You know that already. I was giving them time to get their shit together.

But you were also still supplying them even when they hadn’t paid for the other shit you had already supplied them with.

That’s because every time I supplied them, the profit that they already owed doubled. It’s a business move. Listen, you don’t always know what the fuck you are talking about. You’re just eager to jump the gun without having a plan. You don’t see the bigger picture. You just always see the ending results.

Isn’t that what the fuck you taught me to do?

Hell no! You’ve been so eager to take over from the moment I allowed you to hop into this shit. You never wanted to learn the way things worked, and that’s the problem now.

Nah.

Nah my ass. Now when you go to Atlanta you need to do everything exactly the way I tell you to. If not, you could fuck some shit up.

Yeah. I’m listening.

Okay, the first guy to be killed was Macon. His father was originally from Macon, Georgia. Once he took over Macon and got his paper all the way up, he moved his family to Buckhead. That’s considered to be zone two. This will be your first stop when you get to Atlanta. Buckhead is a rich area where all the doctors and lawyers and shit reside. You won’t have too much to worry about there. Macon took over there once his father was locked up. His widow’s name is Malaysia. She’s twenty-five and she has two kids. She’s who you will approach. Your job is to find out what she knows about her husband’s death and how she plans to pay his debt. That will be your task with all of these women.

Got it. Who’s next.

After you leave Buckhead you need to go to East Atlanta. Now, East Atlanta is zone six. You’re going to have to watch your back when you get there. Coast was the second one to be killed only a day after Macon was found dead. Coast was originally from New York, but he moved to East Atlanta when he was like eighteen. It took him five years to get on top there, so anyone could have killed him out of jealousy because that’s not where he’s from. His widow’s name is Arizona. She’s twenty-three, and to my knowledge, they didn’t have any kids.

Aight.

"And then, last but not least, was Boogie. He was killed a couple of weeks after the others. That nigga started trapping at the age of thirteen and was running shit by the time he hit sixteen. His widow’s name is Trouble and they both were born and raised in Bankhead. Bankhead is zone one. You will need to be the most careful there for a few reasons. As you know, Bankhead is where your mother and I are from. It’s also where she was killed. After you were born, I fled and came to Florida, and I haven’t been back there since. You need to make sure that no one there finds out that you’re my son. Of course, I had the niggas that killed your mother killed, but you can never be too careful. Even though you are going there last, whatever you do, don’t stay there while you’re trying to get to the bottom of things. I want you out in Atlanta until you get the answers we need. Once you get the answers, I want you
