Something fuzzy and yellow came flying out of his peripheral. It hooked on the old sign, causing the rotten wood and rusty nails to groan and squeak. The large towel concealed almost all of the carved words.

Aubrey stood with her back turned to him, the sunrays through the pine trees casting bright yellow shapes on her back that danced with the wind. Without the towel, she was all but naked, with only a skimpy little bikini to keep her on the edge of decent. It was practically two strings tied to a piece of green floss that disappeared between her ass cheeks. She might as well have been naked.

"Oh, it looks so hot! she said, poking a toe into the water and then pulling it back after the silvery liquid touched the skin. Wow! she exclaimed, giggling. I didn't know it would be that warm."

Evan had arrived with his own swimming attire as well, wearing swim trucks and a white t-shirt. Together, he and Aubrey looked like they were dressed for a day on the beach, but the cool, misty forest was anything but the hot, sandy shores. Truthfully, the chill coming through the trees made him shiver, but Aubrey had warned him to dress for hot water, so here they were.

I'm going in, she said, teetering on the wet rocks at the water's edge. The pool was slightly bigger than the size of an average hot tub, with a cloud of faint white steam hovering just above it. She started with one leg first, searching for a solid surface underneath the water. When it was up to her thigh, she squealed. "Ah! Hot! Hot!"

Once the water came up to his thighs, he immediately wished he had been slower about it. He gritted his teeth together, grunting to hold back a cry of surprise. "Oh shit."

See? Aubrey flung some more water at him. "Isn't it nice? I've never been in one so hot before. I read on the internet that this was supposed to be the hottest one in the state."

Evan felt his cheeks flush as he settled down into the water, finding the same ledge underneath the surface that his girlfriend was sitting on. He imagined that sitting himself into a pot of boiling water wouldn't feel much different. A moment later, his body adjusted to the heat, and he felt his muscles relaxing.
