LOVE IS MANY-SPLENDORED... AND KIND

TO SAVE AN ANGEL IN DISGRACE

Now that the danger is past them, Graeme and Kiara have time to explore human love, its gifts and its pitfalls.

Graeme feels he could not wait to learn love and life with Kiara, while Kiara feels that in spite of the huge inheritance she and Ronan have received from their late father, her true blessing is being loved by someone like Graeme. There is only one other obstacle to finally be together — what will she feel when she finally learns what Graeme really is?

EARTHBOUND ANGELS: Fallen angels who are made to suffer by becoming what they belittled when they had wings. But living with humans teaches them that there is more to life than flying. And that being alive isn't just about grace, punishment, and redemption.

EXCERPT
As Ronan jogged up the stairs, Graeme returned to his office to let Kiara know how excited Ronan was to be going out for the night.

“I’m not really surprised,” Kiara laughed. “He’s been closed up here for weeks! He probably feels as if his cage has been opened.”

“It was necessary,” Graeme commented. “I had to make sure that the two of you were safe.”

“And we understand that. We’re both very grateful for everything that you’ve done for us.”

“I thought we discussed this thing of you constantly thanking me,” Graeme said smiling.

“We did. But it just keeps coming up,” Kiara said smiling. “I think I’m going to run upstairs and make sure that Ronan takes everything he needs. Then I’m going to do some getting ready of my own.”

Her seductive smile almost brought Graeme to his knees. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her as she backed out of the room while continuing to smile.

I’m in so much trouble, he thought. But I don’t care. It’s a good kind of trouble and I love every minute of it!

He couldn’t wait to see what she would wear that night.

In the end, he really didn’t care. Whatever she was wearing wasn’t going to stay on her for very long so it would almost be a waste.

Sandra Ross

The moment Sandra Ross held her first romance novel when she was ten, she knew she was going to write romance. At thirty now, a prolific reader and a freelance writer, she's since then expanded her preferences from just romance to romance with a dash of now trending sub-genres—paranormal , fantasy, sci-fi even, and erotica. She loves challenging herself and would write on a dare. On a normal day, she would be found in her herb garden collecting spices for her kitchen or ingredients for her potions; in her huge eclectic Provencal kitchen with the big modern oven cooking pots and pans of food for her family of one husband and three kids (an ardent daughter and two boisterous sons) that'll probably last for weeks; in her library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and an e-reader in her hands as she reads the latest erotic hit; or scribbling pages upon pages of different erotic lifestyles, searching for the one that feels like it was inspired by just the right mix of passion, story line, and sex. Aside from these activities, the rest of the time she'd be found in front of her laptop typing the latest Sandra Ross concoction for her readers.

    Chapter One

THE LAST FEW weeks had been incredibly busy for Graeme, Kiara, Simon and even Ronan.

This was the first day that things seemed to be calm and they could all engage in a normalcy that had eluded them during that time.

Simon had managed to help Kiara avoid any charges for her long ago crime of slipping a police officer a drugged cup of coffee. A lot of that had to do with the officer's refusal to testify against her. Once the full story had emerged about why she did it, he had felt so badly for her and Ronan that he simply would not make their lives any more difficult now.

Ronan was responding splendidly to his speech therapy. Actually, he was doing so well he was down to seeing his therapist only once a week and that would most likely not be needed for much longer.

Since he had begun talking, he rarely stopped. Graeme, Kiara, Stella and Jerry all found it quite amusing. Kiara, in particular, loved hearing his voice.

Things had been sorted regarding the death of Renee Shannon as well.

The day of Renee's murder, she had returned home early from work for some reason. No one was exactly sure why and now there would be no way of finding out the truth. But she was there before Ronan's bus arrived. Kiara had been delayed by traffic for a few minutes so he had walked into the house.

He and Renee had spent a scant few minutes together before there was a thunderous knock on the front door. Telling him to go to his room, Renee had gone to see who was at the door. Ronan had heard her arguing loudly with a man and he had become frightened. However, he was also scared for his mother so he slowly and quietly made his way down to the living room.

Peering around the doorway, he had been horrified to see a man stabbing his mother repeatedly with a large knife.

It was probably at that moment that he had gone into shock and gasped. Startled, the man whirled around, dropping the knife in the process. He and Ronan stared at each other. Clearly, it seemed that the man was mulling over his options, but a car pulled up outside.

Hearing that sound, he rushed past Ronan and went through the back door of the house just as Kiara was hurrying in the front.

Ronan identified his mother's murderer as Jefferson Graves.

He had started to have flashbacks to the afternoon of his mother's murder when he saw Jefferson attacking his sister. It was the fear and outrage that this man would once
