Just having returned from a long stay in Germany, Werner pays Josh, the college boy next door, for sex. Their involvement is getting out of hand according to a pattern Werner can't seem to break. Having met Lyle, Werner decides he is the answer – a strong man who won't get crushed under Werner's ego. His attempts to drive Josh away with sex fail. Werner arranges to watch the other two fuck as a way of forcing his feelings to coalesce. He jettisons his own plan when he sees that Josh is uncooperative. Lyle's level headed reaction shows him that he is the man for Werner.

Lyle slept like he was determined to take over any bed no matter how big. His arms and legs were out well past his side of the bed, sometimes thrown over Werner, sometimes pushing at him to make more room for himself. It was technically Lyle's bed, but at the moment he was supposed to be sharing. Werner was tempted to push him right off to the floor. Of course, if he woke him, they would just start fucking again. It was a tempting prospect, but Werner wanted to save at least a little bit of energy for work.

Werner hadn't realized how exhausting it would be to fuck someone who could keep up with him. Having to hold back and slow down for some wimp was easier on Werner too. Lyle seemingly had no limits. At least Werner had not found them yet. He smiled as he thought about how quickly Lyle could throw off his clothes, how aggressive and demanding he was. He was really built just for Werner, his perfect counterpart. It was that kind of thinking that led him to advance their relationship without consulting Lyle, to almost take him for granted. Because Lyle was made for him, it followed that he belonged to Werner. That's why earlier that night, Lyle had to remind him that he expected to be appreciated. To that end, Lyle gave him a workout, and in return Werner worked him over.

On every approach, Lyle pushed him away with his foot. He was sprawled on the bed with a raging hard-on and playing hard to get. Trying to instigate a wrestling match, he was making Werner work for the privilege of screwing him. The word boyfriend had been said, maybe too soon, maybe as a foregone conclusion, setting off some kind of commitment phobic, knee-jerk reaction in Lyle.
