    These are the Two Ways to Peace of Mind.

    The Three States of your Mind

    Rajas: mental agitation, uncontrolled thoughts, mental stress, furious mental activity; ambition, the drive to achieve or succeed; arrogance, a feeling of mental superiority, pride.

    Tamas: mental inertia, laziness, ignorance, dullness; falling asleep; gloominess, negative thinking; insensitivity to the needs of others; resistance to progress and to new ways of doing things.

    Sattva: mental stability, peace, mental balance, mental equilibrium; lucidity, clarity of mind, philosophical thinking; mindfulness, awareness, goodness, intelligence, discernment, harmony in thinking; seeking the True, the Beautiful, the Real, the Immortal, the Everlasting; sensitivity to others.

    These are the states of your mind. You must learn to recognize which state is predominating at any given moment. If you want Peace of Mind in this world, only Sattva
