About this ebook

TALES FROM CORNY COVE
Life in a Cornish Paradise...
What could Possibly go Wrong?

When Henry & Margaret move down south to run a campsite
It turns out that 'living the dream' sometimes involves
Dealing with a few nightmares too!

When redundancy forces Henry and Margaret to reassess their lives, they decide to 'live the dream' and move from their home in the Midlands down south to Cornwall.

Discovering the golden sands and rugged cliffs of Corny Cove, it's love at first sight, and they take on the running of a campsite.

Set during the course of a typical British holiday season, the interwoven tales are full of twists, turns, and tickles, with the bespectacled Henry having a hard time from the likes of 'Rusty' Gates, the obnoxious red-bearded farmer next door, and campers like the brutish Mr Botherham and unruly Mrs Gladstone.

With delightful picturesque landscape on the one hand, and a host of bothersome characters on the other, life at Corny Cove can be both a blessing and a curse.

(Each tale is the length of a novelette, thus making this a novel-length book.)

FAUX REVIEWS by PSEUDO-CELEBRITIES

Here are just a few of the author's infamous 'faux reviews' of the spurious kind for Tales from Corny Cove...

No mozzies, no snakes and no lethal sharks... Corny Cove sounds like a fair dinkum paradise. Trouble is, what the heck would a fella like me do with his time without crocs to hunt all day, eh?
CROCODILE DUNDEE ('Mick' to his mates)

After ditching my RV back in the States to buy a small camper for my trip to the quaint little British Isles, Alannah recommended I visit Corny Cove – and I thought, "Why not?" Boy, has she done the place justice in her book! Nearly got lost in the forest but the beach was real cool. Unfortunately, the place was so remote I couldn't get a burger anywhere. The upside? – I never got asked for my autograph once. Five stars all round!

Cornwall is so hot right now! Oh, hold on... Are we talking Cornwall, Ontario or Cornwall, England?
