The Country Club Billionaire, 3 - Bella Bentley

Miss Loveheart. Your dress for the evening.

The clank from setting my china coffee cup on the saucer was a delicate sound. I liked the sound of it so much, I turned around with a giddy smile on my face, feeling incredibly regal. Then, suddenly, my jaw dropped in absolute delight and surprise.

Colleen held up the most gorgeous dress! And I thought the dress I wore to the gala was gorgeous; this one was a winner. As in, the dress one would wear to the red carpet for the Oscar’s. Not the Golden Globes. The big shabang.

I stood up and walked towards the dress, a little confused by the formality for such a dinner.

Is this...are you sure this is for tonight?

It was a tight black dress with a low neck line and exquisite beading that rivaled any 1920’s flapper dress. Yet the modern twist on this dress was it was layered with a light film of see-through lace giving the dress an incredible feminine look. I would be wrapped in complete chic elegance in that dress. I tried not to squeal like a school girl when I saw in her other hand, a satin pillow holding my shoes. Good Lord I wanted to run over to them right now and smell them, feel them, for I saw the red underneath and knew in an instant they were another pair of Louboutin’s. Good god I’d never tire of seeing such shoes! These appeared to have a small button on the side fastening the strap where it met thick chunky ankle straps that wrapped around in cream.

I couldn’t help but to laugh and wonder if the shoes fell off the satin pillow at all as she walked to my room from wherever she came from.

I couldn’t help but to shake my head in bewilder of the choice of attire presented to me for tonight’s dinner. I was under the impression that tonight was just a dinner.

Are you sure this is what Dexter wants?

She nodded and smiled. Now, I don’t want to be overdressed, but would you look at the dress! I fingered the detailing and that’s when I saw Oscar De La Renta name tag, I nearly lost it and grew weak in the knees.

Good god I’m a lucky bitch. It’s just the type of dress I could see Jessica Biel wearing on the read carpet.

She smiled politely at me as she walked past me and hung the dress on the dress hooker in the corner of the room right by the open widows over looking the glorious view of the garden and pool. She nodded at me with another kind smile as she walked towards the door before turning away.

Your hair and makeup artist will be here in twenty-five minutes should you wish to shower or bathe now. Would you care for a glass of champagne? It is a big night I hear with your family meeting Mr. Miles.

Without hesitation I gladly welcomed the bubbly.

    Yes, that would be lovely.

After a luxurious shower filled with soaps and elegant rich shampoos and conditioner in a four shower-head shower—my first shower ever in the bathroom—I stepped onto the fuzzy bath rug and I wrapped myself in a warm high thread count spa towel before covering myself in a down robe that made me want to curl up, read a good book and eat chocolate.

I inhaled the scents and hugged my arms, looking at myself in the mirror. There were dozens of roses and peonies decorating the bathroom counter tops in the most elegant crystal vases. I was so lucky. I could just stand all day and revel in the luck, beauty and
