Although empty for over fifty years, St. Xavier Monastery was still an awe inspiring structure and Jason Bentley thought he'd found the perfect location for his newest resort. Both of these authors are formula romance authors, and the effort to write a supernatural horror in that formula doesn't always work well. The exorcist scenes combined with generic m/m sex scenes are somewhat jarring. Also, not a lot of subtlety with characters. The ending felt very trite to me, as well.
