    Consult the Occult

Andrew had revenge on his mind. Cold, calculated revenge.

He walked down the street of the industrial estate, sodden with rain from an earlier downpour. The estate echoed with metallic drips, hidden away in the dark alleyways, improperly lit for such a dark night. Andrew didn't care much for the scenery around him -- his attention was with his mobile phone, reading a text message he received a few hours ago. Damn him, he thought, scrolling down the message with a spare thumb. He'll pay for what he did.

He turned around a corner. The new street offered scenery as bleak and uneventful as the one he had just come from, a perfect disguise for those not in the know. He put his phone into his pocket and began scanning the doors to the warehouses that lined the street, squinting to make out the detail on each. He had managed to make his way down half of the street before he saw what he came for; a warehouse door, a red circle crudely spray-painted on it. Inside of the red circle was an equally red hand print, fitting snugly within the borders of the circle. Andrew looked over the mark with nervous eyes, the butterflies in his stomach kicking up.

This is it. This is what he was here for.

With a deep breath, he approached the door, placing his hand on the hand print. He applied pressure, the metallic groans and screams of the door making him grimace. The door slammed into the wall with a loud crash which echoed throughout the warehouse.

The warehouse was stacked full of boxes, somewhat illuminated from the moonlight streaming through large factory windows. In a previous life, the warehouse was the main production line for Kidz Time! Toys. Since the company went under, however, the warehouse had been tasked with storing goods, with nobody to buy them, nobody to take inventory of them, and nobody that cared about them. The boxes were still in pristine condition, dusty from the time they had spent sitting around waiting for a shipping order that never came.

Andrew knew better than to trust this exterior.

He turned left from entering the door, following the instructions he received. He walked towards the far wall, where a huge stack of well-placed boxes dominated the entire width of the warehouse, a wall of crazy fonts and wild colours screaming out to no-one in particular. He drew out his phone, activating the 'Mobile Light' application. The phone's screen was replaced with a bright light, causing Andrew to squint. Scanning the boxes with the light, he found the one he was looking for - a box, placed in the dense stack, with the same logo he found on the door on its front. It looked as if it was a key box that was keeping the entire stack up, but as the instructions told him to do, Andrew pushed it into the wall. The box fell through a hole in the wall. Andrew gasped and looked up at the huge mountain of boxes, convinced that it was about to fall; however, the boxes that depended on it stayed still, one of
