Suppose those of us who are Christians are correct, suppose Jesus is God, the Divine Son, then...

1) We should have only one Church, not the thousands of unique denominations that exist in the world. The scriptures are clear there is only one True Church, only one Bride of Christ, not multiple Brides of Christ.

2) We should be governed by the True Church. Who wants to be governed by secular governments which lead people to perdition whenever they rebel against God and Christianity and God's True Church? Just obey the True Church in all things and you will go to Heaven. Very simple!

3) The idea of a True Church conjures up in the minds of many people images of evil kings, evil nobles, evil priests, evil henchmen etc., torturing rebels in dark dungeons for century after century. Those evils doesn't prove that John 1. 1-14, John 14. 23-26 and Matthew 16. 13-29 are lies. They merely prove that false churches exist.

4) 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29 says you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. So, therefore, it only stands to reason that if you are in a church which gives the bread and the wine to people who openly proclaim that they support evil things, then you are in a church which drags people down to eternal perdition.

For example...

Lord Acton told us in his essay `Human Sacrifice,' `And yet, long after the last victim had fallen in honour of the sun-god of the Aztecs, the civilised nations of Christian Europe continued to wage wholesale destruction...Protestants and Catholics, clergy and laity, vied with each other for two hundred years to provide victims, and every refinement of legal ingenuity and torture was used in order to increase their number. In 1591, at Nördligen, a girl was tortured twenty-three times before she confessed...Three years later, in the same town, a woman suffered torture fifty-six times without confessing she was a witch...In the north of Italy, the great jurist Alciatus saw 100 witches burnt on one day...But those who hunted them out with cunning perseverance, and the inflexible judges who never spared their lives, firmly believed that their execution was pleasing in the sight of God...

In our era the Christians who are the most conspicuous supporters of torture and mass murder are the pro-choice Christians. How many millions of abortions have been performed in the world in recent decades with the blessing of pro-choice Christians? 200 million? 2,000 million?

George Will, in a column he wrote in 1995, gave us the following account of an abortion as witnessed by a Dayton Ohio nurse: `The mother was six months pregnant. The baby's heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen. The doctor went in with forceps and grabbed the baby's legs and pulled them down into the birth canal. Then he delivered the baby's body and the arms - everything but the head. The doctor kept the baby's head just inside the uterus. The baby's little fingers were clasping and unclasping, and his feet were kicking. Then the doctor stuck the scissors through the back of his head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. The doctor opened up the scissors, stuck a high-powered suction tube into the opening, and sucked the baby's brains out.'

So you see the bind that Republicans are in, in the USA. If Republicans push for stern pro-life laws which give lengthy prison sentences to doctors, nurses, hospital administrators and others who perform or participate in abortions, then these strict laws might be pleasing to God but Republicans can't win elections if they push for stern pro-life laws. But if the Republicans advocate lenient pro-life laws or pro-choice laws, then they advocate Anti-Christian things, and so they put themselves on the road to damnation and eternal perdition if they advocate Anti-Christian things.

§ 1. Review of the Most Basic Teachings of Christianity.

My nonfiction books push Christianity and are all about the search for the True Church, recall Matthew 16. 13-19, Ephesians 4. 4 etc.

My nonfiction tries to give readers an adequate paraphrase of Christianity. To write an adequate paraphrase of Christianity you have to be able to direct people to God's True Church, to the Church which Christ founded on a rock, the Church which the gates of Hell will not prevail against, recall Matthew 16. 13-19, to the True Church which leads people to Heaven.

If you direct people to a false church, to a worthless church that is lost in sacrilege and heresy, to a church which drags people down to eternal perdition, then you are not giving people an adequate paraphrase of Christianity!

Christianity teaches so many amazing things. There is so much info to relate, so much material to be crammed into a paraphrase! For example, Revelation 9 says that one of these days monsters will rise up out of the abyss of Hell and will torture people for 5 months. The monsters will torture the people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. So, therefore, you want to be in the True Church, because of course the True Church leads people to Heaven, and if you are in the True Church then no doubt God will put the seal of God on your forehead, therefore you won't be tortured for 5 months by monsters from Hell!

Yes indeed, Christianity is tough to paraphrase because there is so much info to cover. I suppose you might start with the most controversial parts of Christianity and then work your way through to the least controversial parts. For example, suppose a girl is committing sacrilege with the cross and the crucifix, and suppose by committing sacrilege she exposes herself to demonic possession, and then, suppose, after she becomes possessed by a demon, she is driven to put the mark of the beast on her forehead, and then this results in her burning in Hell forever and ever.

So, the upshot is: Don't commit sacrilege with the cross or the crucifix or anything else.

Yes, there's lots of controversial material with Christianity. Here's some more controversial material for you: 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29 says you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. So, for example, if your church has celebrated Holy Communion with evil people for century after century then you might begin to suspect that your church tramples on 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29, and so you might suspect your church is a false church, you might suspect it is not the True Church, and so you might suspect that your church leads people to eternal perdition not to Heaven.

We have a big problem, because, on the one hand, we have thousands of separate churches, thousands of unique denominations in the world. But, on the other hand, the scriptures are clear there is only one True Church. For example, St. Paul says 'there is one body' in Ephesians 4. 4, which is his terminology for there is one True Church. And Matthew 16. 13-19 is clear enough in saying there is one True Church. The scriptural term 'the Bride of Christ' means "the True Church'.

The scriptures mention the Bride of Christ but the scriptures never mention anything about multiple Brides of Christ. So, we got a big problem.

So much depends on first being able to make a sound judgment on the Roman Catholic Church. If you can't even render a sound judgment on the Roman Catholic Church then you can't get anywhere in Christianity! If you step into heresy in regards to Rome, if you lead people to perdition with your heresy regarding Rome, if you lead yourself to perdition, by teaching evil satanic lies about the Roman Catholic Church, well, that is not good for you!

Suppose we have a World Conference of churches where a representative from every one of the thousands of Christian denominations attends the big Global Conference. The Roman Catholic representative stands up on the stage and gives the first speech at the World Conference. He says Rome and only Rome is God's True Church. He says only Rome leads people to Heaven because only Rome is the Church which Christ founded on a rock, only Rome is the Church which the gates of Hell will not prevail against, and therefore every church on Planet Earth other than the Roman Catholic Church is a church which drags people down to eternal perdition.

Naturally the thousands of reps from the thousands of churches not named the Roman Catholic Church pour some scorn on the head of the Roman Catholic rep. They want him to amend his speech. The reps for the other churches do not want to hear the Roman Catholic rep say that every church except the Roman Catholic Church drags people down to eternal perdition.

But big problems arise for the Roman Catholic representative if he amends his speech, because there is a Case 1 and a Case 2.

Case 1: Rome is God's True Church. Rome is the True Church which Christ founded on a rock, recall Matthew 16. 13-19. So, Rome leads people to Heaven. So, any church which rebels against Rome is rebelling against God and God's True Church, so it stand to reason that that rebel church is a false church: it leads people to perdition not to Heaven. Therefore, the Roman Catholic rep should not amend his speech, because, if he amends his speech, if he says one or more churches along with the Roman Catholic Church lead people to Heaven, then, which other church or which other churches, along with Rome, lead people to Heaven? If he makes a mistake, if he tells people that a church which actually leads people to perdition is a Church which leads people to Heaven, then he will be leading people to perdition, and so he then becomes a heretic, and so he puts himself on the road to perdition, and so he should not amend his original speech and he should not put himself on the road to perdition.

Case 2: Rome is not God's True Church. Rome is not the Church Christ founded on a rock.

Rome is a false church. Rome leads people to eternal perdition not to Heaven.

If Case 2 is true then the Roman Catholic rep should of course amend his speech. But if he insists on promoting the false church of Rome in his amended speech, insists on promoting Rome, a church which leads people to eternal perdition, then it doesn't matter what other churches he promotes: he will still be leading people to perdition, by promoting the false church of Rome, and so he is still a heretic: he is marching down a road that will lead him to eternal perdition not to Heaven.

So, if Rome leads people to Heaven, if Rome is God's True Church, then do you get why it is an evil satanic lie to say that Rome is a false church that drags people down to eternal perdition?

But, on the other hand, if Rome is indeed a false church, if Rome does indeed drag people down to eternal perdition, then do you get why it is an evil satanic lie to say that Rome is God's True Church which leads people to Heaven?

So, as stated earlier, you can't get anywhere in Christianity if you can't render a sound verdict on the Roman Catholic Church.

You could just as easily say that you can't get anywhere in Christianity if you can't escape from every false church and can't find God's True Church. Well, there are thousands upon thousands of separate and unique denominations in the world. But there is only one True Church. How do you find the needle in the haystack?

You might begin by reviewing the fundamentals. You might start by reading John 14. 23-26. And then you might read Matthew 25. 31-46 and Revelation 20. 12-15. Then comes 1 John 5. 2-4 and Exodus 20. 2-17. 1 Corinthians 6. 9-10 is very easy to understand because it explicitly names various types of sinners who will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Acts 26. 12-18 and Galatians 1. 8-12 explain St. Paul's authority. His authority is from God. St. Paul was given a mission from God to turn people from the power of Satan to the power of God.

As we've seen, St. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29 that you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. For century after century various churches under the cross celebrated Holy Communion with evil kings, with evil nobles, with evil henchmen of evil kings and evil nobles, with evil Inquisitors, with pro-choicers, with pro gay marriage people, with pro LGBT people, with Sabbath violators, with people who make no secret they are fornicators, or drunkards, or blasphemers, or homosexuals, or liars etc.

A Christian might claim to be saved and born again, he might claim that he is, indisputably, a saint bound undeniably for Heaven. But if he tramples on 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29 and refuses to repent then he is indisputably on the road to perdition and he is certainly not on the road to Heaven.

For many many centuries churches under the cross have given the bread and the wine to blatantly evil people, though these evil people no doubt claimed to be good Christians.

Dr. Abram Leon Sachar, past President of Brandeis University, wrote about evil people under the sign of the cross in `A History of the Jews' (Knopf, 1966, pp.124-5), `Throughout their [the Jews] long history he [Jesus] was not, to them, the Prince of Peace. In his name every conceivable outrage was perpetrated on the despised and cursed race that gave him life. When the crusaders set fire to Jewish villages, plundered Jewish homes, and outraged Jewish daughters, it was in the shadow of the cross they bore. When Torquemada burnt thousands of wretched marranos [Jewish converts to Roman Catholicism] at public autos-da-fé in every Spanish city and capped his career by driving two hundred thousand peaceful Jews out of the country, it was in the name of the gentle Savior who preached the message of brotherly love…Hounded from one land to another, burnt, hanged, spat upon, compelled to live in filthy ghettos and to wear degrading badges…Now, in a brighter day, Jews are turning open-mindedly to learn the truth about the prophet who sprang from their midst…'

The most prolific aiders and abettors of mass torture and mass murder in our era are the pro-choicers / the Democrats. Yes indeed, it's estimated that in the USA alone there have been 70 to 100 million babies killed in abortions over the last 50 years. Often enough these abortions involve agony and lingering torture for the babies being destroyed.

A stab to the back of a baby's skull is indeed brutal but at least death arrives fairly quick and there is less pain for the aborted child in a partial birth abortion than in some other types of abortion, types which the American medical profession performs every day with the blessing of the American government, the Democratic Party and lots and lots of churches. No end of churches give their blessing to the mass murder and mass torture of infants everytime they give the bread and the wine to pro-choicers. This gets you thinking that no end of Christian churches are money-making operations first and Christian organizations second. If a priest or a minister was to tell his congregation that all the pro-choicers in the congregation are immediately excommunicated, then his church might swiftly go bankrupt. Anyway lots of churches give the bread and the wine to pro-choicers, and therefore these churches give their blessing to the pro-choice movement, which is a movement which is wrapped up in the mass torture and mass murder of many millions of infants. It's as if these churches have no conception of 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29. It's as if these churches don't believe St. Paul's authority is from God. It's as if these churches have no respect for Acts 26. 12-18, Galatians 1. 8-12, 2 Thess 1. 8 etc.

The above info is merely a fraction of all the evidence which pertains to the main theme in my nonfiction, the theme which says that though Christianity is the True Faith, nevertheless, every church under the cross leads people to eternal perdition, because every church under the cross is a false church, because they all trample on 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29, and other scriptures.

2 Thess 2 deals with strong delusion as well as with the Antichrist. Having many thousands of denominations in the world, when the scriptures are clear there is only one True Church, means lots and lots of Christians are delusional.

Take a look at Acts 5. 4. It explains how people on the road to Heaven manage the finances of the True Church. The True Church acts like a bank. The True Church of course needs funds to run schools, hospitals etc. But the True Church acquires its money through legacies, bequests, by voluntary gifts, not by sending people to prison for refusing to pay their taxes. The True Church is the True Government of the people who are on the road to Heaven.

Hundreds of millions of Christians ignore Acts 5. 4 because they reason that since they are good Christians who are indisputably saved and are most assuredly on the road to Heaven, therefore, there is no reason for them to change anything, so there is no reason for them to begin to obey Acts 5. 4.

If in fact hundreds of millions of Christians are on the road to eternal perdition, and if you could convince them they are indeed on the road to eternal perdition, because they trample on scriptures like Acts 5. 4, 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29, 2 Thess 1. 8, Galatians 1. 8, John 14. 23-26, 1 John 5. 2-4, Revelation 21. 8, Matthew 16. 13-19, Ephesians 4. 4 etc., then you could convince them that big changes are required!

But since they are convinced they are on the road to Heaven they are convinced that no big changes could possibly be required!

I'm not dogmatically saying that everyone who dies while lost in a false church will be damned. I imagine God will extend mercy to various people who died before they could find the True Church: to kids who died young before they had a chance to find the True Church. I imagine mercy will be granted to long suffering but misguided missionaries, and to other excellent but misguided Christians who died while lost in false churches. I imagine there are exceptions to the General Rule! But the General Rule still says: if you are lost in a false church, or if you are lost in a false religion, if you are not a member of God's True Church, if you are not a member of the Church which Christ founded on a rock, if you are not a member of the Bride of Christ, then you are marching down a a road that leads to eternal perdition.

And of course you have to be careful how you interpret the Hellfire scriptures. If one is cast into the lake of fire at the Last Judgment, does this mean one burns in Hell forever? Everyone who is cast into the lake of fire at the Last Judgment, see Revelation 20. 12-15, is tortured in Hellfire forever and ever? That seems terribly terribly harsh. God is a merciful God after all. The Hindus, the Buddhists, Muslims etc., are all tortured in Hell forever? What about this idea? At some point God takes many or most of the damned out of the lake of fire and gives them more comfortable places in eternal perdition.

Of course Non-Christians, and lots of Christians, for that matter, will call you a brainless idiot if you insist that we must be governed by a Christian Theocracy. Try not to get nasty in responding to people who slam you as a brainless idiot! James 1. 26 says your religion is useless if you don't bridle your tongue. If your religion is useless then it won't deliver you to Heaven.

When the Antichrist and the False Prophet show up, and when these 3 angels from Heaven mentioned in Revelation 14. 6-11 show up, and when the prophesies found in Revelation 18 come true, then everyone on Planet Earth will be supplied with conclusive proof that says Christianity is the True Faith, and so people will then change their tune, and they will then want to be governed by the True Church, by the Church which Christ founded on a rock, they will want to be governed by God's True Church which leads people to Heaven, and people will no longer want to be governed by secular governments which rebel against God and God's True Church and which therefore drag people down to eternal perdition.

My nonfiction pushes the doctrines that both the cross and the crucifix are evil: they are evil in the sight of God, and therefore it is sacrilege to say either the cross or the crucifix is sacred, because it is sacrilege to say that things which are evil in the sight of the LORD are sacred, just as it is sacrilege to say that things which are sacred in the sight of the LORD are evil.

At least here me out on my logic before you jump to the conclusion that I’m a devil from Hell.

My analysis of the Roman Catholic crucifix: I'm saying it is an image of a Roman Catholic version of Jesus. A Roman Catholic version of Jesus is a version of Jesus who says the Roman Catholic Church is God's True Church. It is a version of Jesus who says Rome leads people to Heaven. I don't see how it makes any sense to say the Roman Catholic crucifix is an image of a Mormon version of Jesus, or a Baptist version of Jesus, or a version of Jesus who says only the Lutheran Church leads people to Heaven. If the True God / True Jesus says Rome leads people to Heaven, says Rome is God's True Church, then you can trust Rome when Rome says her crucifix is sacred to God. But if the True God / True Jesus says Rome is a false church, says Rome leads people to perdition not to Heaven, then the Roman Catholic crucifix is the image of a lie. Again, it is an image of a version of Jesus who says Rome leads people to Heaven, so it is an image of a lie if the True Jesus says Rome leads people to perdition. If the Roman Catholic crucifix is the image of a lie then the image of the beast comes to mind, the beast being a false version of God / Jesus.

No end of evil was perpetrated over the centuries by people carrying crosses. I'm saying this evil is reflected in the cross, rather as the evil of the Nazis is reflected in the Nazi swastika. The scriptures which say the cross of Christ is sacred mean Christ's sacrifice on the cross is sacred. Those scriptures don't mean that a pagan instrument of torture is sacred to the Creator of the Universe. If a church tells you the cross is sacred and says you are safe to put the mark of a cross on your forehead during the Great Tribulation, see Revelation 18, and then if you burn in Hell forever, because the cross is the mark of the beast, then the church that led you to burn in Hell forever is obviously a false church. If the cross is evil in the sight of God then every church under the cross is a false church, they all lead people to perdition, because it is sacrilege to say the cross sacred if indeed it is evil in the sight of God. The 2nd Commandment forbids graven images. What are the material cross and the material crucifix? They are graven images! Yes, Christ's sacrifice on the cross is sacred. But a graven image of something sacred is evil and it is not sacred. And it is sacrilege to say that something which is evil in God's sight is sacred in God's sight.

If you disagree with my analysis of the cross, if you insist the True Church is a Church under the cross, well, where is the True Church? There are thousands of churches / denominations under the cross. Which churches under the cross are false churches that lead people to perdition? Which Church is the True Church? What do you think about Rome? Is Rome a false church which leads people to perdition? Is Rome God's True Church which leads people to Heaven? The scriptures are clear there is only one True Church.

So, you see how it goes. If the Protestants under the cross are correct about the cross and the crucifix – The Protestants say this: Embrace the cross but reject the crucifix, or to be more specific, if the Protestants are correct in saying this: the crucifix is evil – the crucifix is an evil violation against the Commandment forbidding graven images - and it is sacrilege to say the crucifix is sacred, but the cross is sacred in the sight of the LORD, and therefore it is sacrilege to say the cross is evil, then take note of what the Protestants say!

And of course if the Protestants under the cross are correct about the cross and the crucifix, you are still left with the problem of deciding which of the thousands of Protestant churches under the cross is God’s True Church.

Now if the Roman Catholics are correct, if both the cross and the Roman Catholic crucifix are sacred in the sight of the LORD, then this means quite clearly that every nation on Planet Earth needs to get rid of its current government, and it needs to obey the Roman Catholic Church, because, if you always obey Rome / God’s True Church you will be led to Heaven, but if you rebel against God’s True Church / Rome then you have to expect that you will go to eternal perdition. There is no sane reason to keep these Senates and Parliamients if they are just going to lead people to eternal perdition every time they rebel against God’s True Church, the Roman Catholic Church.

Now you might be a right-wing Roman Catholic, and you might argue that the current pope is a Leftist who has lots of bad Leftist ideas, for instance he recently gave Holy Communion to the pro-choicers Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi. Nevertheless, if the cross and the Roman Catholic crucifix are sacred in the sight of the LORD, then you would have to conclude that the Roman Catholic Church is God’s True Church. You can argue about whether the currect pope is on the road to many painful years being cleansed in the fires of Purgatory, or possibly even on the road to eternal perdition, but, nevertheless, if the Roman Catholic Church is God’s True Church, then your smartest move is to obey the Roman Catholic Church in all things. Simply obey God’s True Church in all things and never rebel against God’s True Church then you will attain Heaven and you will escape Hell. Even if you are convinced the current pope is making big mistakes, if you always obey God’s True Church and never rebel against God’s True Church, then you can’t lose.

Of course if the Roman Catholic Church is not God’s True Church, if Rome is a false church which drags people down to eternal perdition, then you might turn to the Russian Orthodox Church, or you might turn to the Protestants.

The Protestants will acuse me of of pushing sacrilege in regards to the cross, but the Catholics, Orthodox and Anglicans can accuse the Protestants of pushing sacrilege in regards to their respective crucifixes.

Naturally I’m promoting Sola Scriptura. The Bible contains everything we need to attain salvation. I’m saying Christ and the apostles never used the cross as their symbol, or their sacred symbol. I’m saying the scriptures which say the cross of Christ is sacred mean Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is sacred. They don’t mean that a material cross, a pagan instrument of torture and execution, or a representation of the same, is sacred to the Creator of the Universe.

Generally it is very bad when a history book repeats itself. But this book is mostly a very religious sort of history book, and religious books often need to be very repetititve. The authors of lengthy religious books want to make sure the most important points are emphasized.

At the heart of Christianity we have the following reasoning. Christ told us at the Last Supper that Christianity is the New Covenant, the New Law prophesied in Jeremiah 31. 31-34 that will amend the Old Law, the Mosaic Law. Jeremiah 31. 31-34 tells us that the New Law will be written on the hearts of God’s people. And even the least of God’s people will have this New Law written on their hearts. This tells Christians that Christianity must be rather simple. If even the least of God’s people can understand the New Law, if even little kids and retarded people can understand Christianity, then Christianity can’t be all that complex. Well, if you repeat the key points often enough then people can remember the key points. But make no mistake, there is a lot to learn with Christianity. You can read the Bible from cover to cover 50 times and you will still learn something you hadn’t seen before on the 51st reading.

Ezekiel 20. 25 tells us that God was angry with the children of Israel because of their rebellions and so He gave them bad laws. The Old Law is all about slaughtering animals, shedding blood or birds and beasts for the atonement of sin. There are both good laws and bad laws in the Mosaic Law. For example, the Mosaic Law commands people to use just weights and measures. That Law is not excluded from the New Law, i.e., Christianity. You’re not permitted in Christianity to cheat customers by using crooked weights and measures. The 10 Commandments from the Old Law are good laws and are certainly incorporated into the New Law and are eternally enforced, though some heretic Christians insist Christians not obligated to keep the Sabbath Day holy. These heretics belong to churches which have a tradition of not keeping the Sabbath Day holy. Rather than admit these churches are false churches which lead people to perdition they argue the Commandment to keep the Sabbath Day Holy is no longer a commandment! Where do we read in the New Testament that the 10 Commandments are now the 9 Commandments?

The scriptures say the Old Law is an eternal law, but Christians take this to mean that all of it is eternally remembered, but not all of it is eternally enforced. The bad laws in the Old Law, the animal sacrifice laws etc., are not to now be enforced. And, for instance, under the Old Law the adulteress was to be stoned to death, but under the New Law Jesus commanded that she not be stoned.

But Christianity gets complicated, because some say that Christianity is whatever the Roman Catholic Church says it is. They base this reasoning on the logic which says Rome is God’s True Church, and if Rome says various people need to be burned because they are witches or heretics, then Christianity says they must be burned. But other Christians argue that Rome is a false Church, not God’s True Church. These people insist Christianity is not whatever Rome says it is. Christianity gets complicated because while it is easy to read the scriptures and see that they declare there is one True Church – St. Paul’s words in Ephesians 4. 4 there is one body mean there is one True Church, and Matthew 16. 13-19 is perfectly clear on this matter – nevertheless, there are thousands of Christian denominations in the world, and to declare with 100% certainty that you know exactly which of these denominations are lost in heresy and lead people to perdition, and which one, or which ones, lead people to Heaven, well, maybe you’re right or maybe you are wrong!

So, you might be saying that if even little kids and retarded people can find God’s True Church, and yet we have other info telling us that it looks terribly complicated to find God’s True Church, well, how is all this going to get resolved? I got some books that deal with that question.

If you examine the annals of history you might swiftly conclude that lots of people under the sign of the cross did not have any Divine Law written on their hearts. Jesus listed foolishness as one of the deadly sins in Mark 7. 22. So, a True Christian, as opposed to a false Christian, is not foolish. But in order to not be foolish you have to be educated by a very very competent school. And what is the best school on Planet Earth? It isa superhuman school called God’s True Church.

If you graduate from Harvard or Yale, Cambridge or Oxford etc., chances are you will be filled with foolishness. Yes, there are people with high IQs at those universities. Nevertheless it’s just terribly difficult to not have any foolish ideas bouncing round in your head! All of politics, all of the fight between Republicans and Democrats, between Tories and Labour, is essentially a big argument over what is foolishness and what isn’t foolishness.

So, True Christians, as opposed to False Christians, are led by the True Church, by the Supreme University, to wisdom, truth and Heaven, and are led away from all manner of foolishness and evil which lead misbelievers to perdition.

Some Christians say you only need to profess the contents of John 3. 16 to be saved, to attain heaven and escape perdition. But this is an example of foolishness. Merely because one can read and profess the contents of John 3. 16 does not prove one has True Belief in Jesus. If you profess the contents of John 3. 16 you have proven merely that you can provide lip service to John 3. 16. You have no proven that you are a True Believer.

To understand Christianity you have to understand the authority of St. Paul. In Galatians 1. 8-12 St. Paul tells us that he learned his doctrines directly from Christ and even an angel from Heaven is damned if he alters these doctrines. In Acts 26. 12-18 we are told that St. Paul was given a mission by God to turn people from the power of Satan to the power of God. Of Course Non-Christians say Galatians 1. 8 and Acts 26. 12-18 are untrustworthy. And of course Christians say they are trustworthy. Well if St. Paul has indeed been given a mission from God to turn people from the power of Satan to the power of God then you can trust what St. Paul says in 2 Thess 1. 8 – hellfire for those who do not know God and who do not obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ – and you can trust what St. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29 – you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner.

Non-Catholics argue that the Roman Catholic Church simply can’t be God’s True Church, because it promoted so much foolishness and it promoted so terribly much evil over the centuries. At one time Rome said you were a heretic if you said the world is a sphere. In former centuries Rome said you were in error if you said the earth revolves round the sun. For centuries Rome inflicted hideous torments on those Rome declared to be heretics.

Lord Acton told us in his essay `Human Sacrifice,’

`And yet, long after the last victim had fallen in honour of the sun-god of the Aztecs, the civilised nations of Christian Europe continued to wage wholesale destruction...Protestants and Catholics, clergy and laity, vied with each other for two hundred years to provide victims, and every refinement of legal ingenuity and torture was used in order to increase their number. In 1591, at Nördligen, a girl was tortured twenty-three times before she confessed...Three years later, in the same town, a woman suffered torture fifty-six times without confessing she was a witch...In the north of Italy, the great jurist Alciatus saw 100 witches burnt on one day...In England alone, under the Tudors and the Stuarts, the victims of this superstition amounted to 30,000. Yet, from the appearance of Spee's Cautio in 1631 to the burning of the last witch in 1783, all sensible men were persuaded that the victims were innocent of the crime for which they suffered intolerable torments and an agonizing death. But those who hunted them out with cunning perseverance, and the inflexible judges who never spared their lives, firmly believed that their execution was pleasing in the sight of God, and that their sin could not be forgiven by men.'

Perhaps the most basic teaching in all the many Christian teachings is the one saying Jesus is God, and therefore you can trust what God / Jesus is saying in Matthew 16. 13-19 - a True Church exists, and this True Church – which is the assembly of the saints - leads people away from all forms of foolishness and all other deadly sins which lead people to perdition. The key attribute of the True Church, the Bride of Christ, is that she always leads people to Heaven and never leads anyone to perdition.

If a church leads people away from Heaven and to perdition then it is a false church. If a Church leads people to Heaven then it is God’s True Church. Simple enough, only for a slight complication that, of course, every church claims it leads people to Heaven. No church declares itself to be a false church which drags people down to eternal perdition. So we have huge problems. Merely because a group of Christians become terribly animated, with their veins bulging in their necks, with their eyeballs protruding from their sockets, as they shout their profession that their particular church is none other that God’s True, well, this is not anything which you would call proof, it is nothing you would call 100% guaranteed undeniable verification that their denomination is indeed God’s True Church. If the evidence says that Christian church X is more or less worthless at leading people out of foolishness, then you got evidence saying Christian church X is a false church and it is not God’s True Church. We’ll review various Christian churches in later sections of this voluminous chapter. We want to review the most basic teachings of Christianity right now.

Christianity insist that, in the future, everyone will be supplied with irrefutable evidence that Christianity is true. And one needn’t wait for the Second Coming of Christ to arrive to see this irrefutable evidence. 2 Thess 2 says the Antichrist will be revealed prior to the Second Coming. And Revelation 14. 6-11 tell us that 3 angels from Heaven will show up, sooner or later. Revelation 18 is all about the Great Tribulation. This is a prophecy on the topic of economic collapse. The merchants of the earth are accused of sorcery and accused of leading the nations astray, Revelation 18. 27.

We should have billions of Non-Christians converting to Christianity when various Christian prophesies come to pass, because, when they do come to pass, they will more or less prove with 100% certainty that Christianity is the True Faith. Apropos these 3 angels from heaven mentioned in Revelation 14. 6-11, the 1st explains the Gospel to the world. The 2nd says Babylon has fallen and the 3rd announces the punishment for those who worship the image of the beast and who have the mark of the beast on their forehead or right hand. So, when Babylon has fallen, for all to see – presumably Babylon is every nation ruled by evil / anti-Christian doctrines and actions – then this will be a powerful inducement for people to convert to Christianity, the religion which gave us the prophesy saying Babylon has fallen. Similarly, when the Antichrist shows up – the man of sin / son of perdition mentioned in 2 Thess 2 is commonly called The Antichrist – and 2 Thess 2 says the man of sin / son of perdition arrives before the 2nd Coming of Christ - then we have another fulfilled Christian prophesy, so, again, Non-Christians will be supplied with powerful evidence saying Christianity is the True Faith. Daniel 12. 1 says the Jews will be delivered when the archangel Michael shows up. Christians insist the Jews can’t be delivered if they reject Jesus, and so Christians say the Jews will be delivered when the archangel Michael converts them to Christianity. One theory says the Antichrist will convert the Jews to an evil version of Christianity and then months or years will elapse before Michael shows up to convert them to the True Version of Christianity. Another theory says no, no, the Jews won’t be converted by the Antichrist to an evil version of Christianity.

Naturally you don’t want to get angels from hell confused with angels from heaven. Suppose an angel shows up and suppose this angel says you must convert to Roman Catholicism, perhaps this angel insists Rome is God’s True Church, perhaps the angel is saying you will burn in hell if you don’t convert to Roman Catholicism. Then you get to decide if this angel is an angel from heaven or an angel from hell.

Or suppose an angel shows up and he says you must place yourself under the authority of Vladimir Putin and the Russian Orthodox Church in order to escape hellfire, because these are the true leaders on earth of God’s True Church. Then you get to decide if this is an angel from hell or an angel from heaven.

Or suppose an angel shows up and suppose he says some other church, call it church X is God’s True Church, and says you must obey this church X in order to escape hellfire. Then you get to decide if he is an angel from heaven or an angel from hell.

It looks to be rather impossible to tell if an angel is an angel from hell or an angel from Heaven if you don’t already know how to find God’s True Church. If an angel shows up, and if this angel is promoting Church X, then this angel looks to be an angel from Heaven if Church X is indeed God’s True Church. As long as the angel doesn’t fall into sin and start pushing a false church, as long as he continues to promote God’s True Church, then the angel is an angel from Heaven. Similarly, if an angel shows up, and if this angel is pushing church Y as God’s True Church, but if church Y is a false church which drags souls down to eternal perdition, then the angel is an angel from Hell, unless of course he changes his tune and starts promoting the True Church and stops pushing a false church.

When these 3 angels from Heaven mentioned in Revelation 14. 6-11 show up, it’s terribly important that you don’t see them as 3 angels from Hell. So, how are you to know if an angel is an angel from Heaven or an angel from Hell if you don’t already know how to find God’s True Church? That’s one of the questions we will be looking at in this book.

§ 2. Is the Cross a Sacred Symbol?

Paul Johnson reminds us in A History of Christianity,

`Tertullian broke with the Church [Rome] when Calixtus of Rome determined that the church had the power to grant remission of sins after baptism, even serious sins like adultery or apostasy...Julian claims Catholics slaughtered heretics with state military support. Whole communities were butchered...in the 5th century there were over 100 statutes against heresy. The state now attacked heresy as it had once attacked Christianity...Jerome describes horrible tortures inflicted on a woman accused of adultery [inflicted by the Catholic-State]. In the late 4th century there was despotism in Christendom. The rack and red-hot plates were used. Ammianus gives many instances of torture...the Inquisition was born...Spain was staging pogroms of Jews by the time Augustine became a bishop...Inquisition: anonymous informers, accusations of personal enemies allowed, no right of defending council...Possession of scriptures in any language forbidden...from 1080 onward there were many instances of the Pope, councils and Bishops forbidding the Bible to laymen...people burned for reading the Bible...Erasmus saw 200 prisoners of war broken on the wheel at Utrech, on orders of the Bishop...Justinian Code: provided basis for persecution of dissenters...Protestants adopted the Justinian Code as well...Lutherans and Calvinists just as intolerant as Catholics...Counter-Reformation embodied no reform. It's sole effect was to stamp out Protestant error...It is a tragic but recurrent feature of Christianity that the eager pursuit of reform tends to produce a ruthlessness in dealing with obstacles to it which brings the whole moral superstructure crashing down in ruins...The Gregorian papacy, so zealous for virtue, fathered some of the worst crimes of the Middle Ages...mass burnings of Protestants in Spain 1559-1562...Spanish Inquisition was self-sustaining. It confiscated the property of the condemned...women 70-90 years old were tortured...young girls tortured...witch-hunting couldn't survive without torture...witch-hunting had papal sanction to use torture...Luther burned witches...Calvinists very fierce...Loyola popularized witch-hunting...Loyola not an anti-Semite...Vicious cycle: torture produced accusations -more torture, more accusations...The Philosophes ransacked the past to expose...evil.'

You see the early Christian Church, the Church prior to the 4th century, didn’t torture and execute people for various theological offense or perceived offenses. But a change came over Christianity in the 4th century and for many centuries thereafter that was an enormous amount of evil perpetrated by people under the sign of the cross. So, we now get to decide if the evils perpetrated over the centuries are reflected in the cross rather as the evils of the Nazis are reflected in the Nazi swastika, or does some sort of Divine Power shield the cross from evil, because the Creator of the Universe says that the cross is sacred and says it reflects no evil, says it symbolizes no evil.

Christianity tells us that the Antichrist will show up sooner or later to drag enormous populations down to hell. And Christianity tells us in Revelation 14. 6-11 that 3 angels from heaven will show up to lead enormous populations to heaven.

Suppose an angel shows up, perhaps an angel from Heaven, or perhaps an angel from Hell, anyway, suppose an angel shows up and suppose this angel is saying you have nothing to fear if you put the mark of a cross on your forehead, suppose he says the cross is the seal of God which saves one from months of torment – see Revelation 9 - provided the cross / seal of God is on your forehead, then, if you trust him, and if you end up burning in hell forever and ever, because the cross is the mark of the beast, not the seal of God, then you’ll wish you hadn’t listened to that angel from Hell, the Antichrist.

Or suppose an angel shows up, and suppose he is saying the cross is the sacred seal of God which saves one from months of torment if it is on your forehead because the cross is the seal of God. And suppose he is telling the truth and you are saved from months of torment by having the cross on your forehead, but if you don’t put the mark of a cross on your forehead, and if you suffer months of excruciating torment on earth, and then you are cast into hell in the afterlife, then you’ll wish you had listened to that angel from Heaven.

So, what we are learning here is that you can’t know if an angel is an angel from Heaven or an angel from Hell if you don’t already know: 1) How to find God’s True Church, and, 2) Whetherthe cross is sacred or evil in the sight of the Creator of the Universe.

Yes, it looks to be rather impossible to tell if an angel is an angel from hell or an angel from Heaven if you don’t already know how to find God’s True Church. If an angel shows up, and if this angel is promoting Church X, then this angel looks to be an angel from Heaven if Church X is indeed God’s True Church. As long as the angel doesn’t fall into sin and starts pushing a false church, as long as the angel continues to promote God’s True Church, then the angel is an angel from Heaven.

Similarly, if an angel shows up, and if this angel is pushing church Y as God’s True Church, but if church Y is a false church which drags souls down to eternal perdition, then the angel is an angel from Hell, unless of course he changes his tune and starts promoting the True Church and stops pushing every false church.

Continuing onwards with a review of the most basic teachings of Christianity, Jeremiah 31. 31-34 is an Old Testament prophesy which says that God will write His new covenant on the hearts of His people. In Matthew 26. 28, Jesus, at the Last Supper, tells us that Christianity is this new covenant. In John 6. 53-55, Jesus tells us, in so many words, that you must take Holy Communion in order to attain heaven and escape perdition. And again St. Paul tells us, in 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29, that you drink damnation into your soul if you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner. Well this immediately leads to the question: what are some examples of taking Holy Communion in an unworthy manner? Revelation 21. 8 says all liars will burn in hell. Suppose you don’t tell lies about Climate Change, but suppose you celebrate Holy Communion with people who do tell lies about Climate Change. We’ve been over 1 Corinthians 11. 27-29. It stands to reason you celebrate Holy Communion in an unworthy manner, and therefore you drink damnation into your soul, if you celebrate Holy Communion with people who are proven to be liars and scammers. The Roman Catholic crucifix is not the image of a Protestant version of Jesus. It is not the image of a Mormon version of Jesus. It is not the image of a Seventh Day Adventist version of Jesus. It is not the image of a version of Jesus who says Rome is a false church which leads people away from heaven and to perdition. No, the Roman Catholic crucifix is an image of a version of Jesus who says the Roman Catholic Church leads people to heaven, a version of Jesus who says Rome is God’s True Church.

There is nothing wrong with the Roman Catholic crucifix, indeed it is sacred, and you commit blasphemy and sacrilege if you say it is evil, if indeed the True God, the True Creator of the Universe, says the Roman Catholic Church is the True Church, says Rome leads people to Heaven. But if the True God says Rome is a false church, if the True God says Rome leads people away from heaven and to perdition, if the True God says Rome is lost in heresy and blasphemy and sacrilege, then the Roman Catholic crucifix - which again is an image of a version of Jesus, an image of the Divine Son, who says Rome leads people to heaven - is the image of a lie. If the Roman Catholic crucifix is the image of a lie, then perhaps it is the image of the beast – the beast being a false version of Jesus – see Revelation 14. 11.

And of course you can’t advance very far in your study of Christianity, and you won’t get very far in your journey to escape from every manner of foolishness, if you can’t make a sound judgment on the Roman Catholic Church. Is Rome God’s True Church? Does Rome lead people to Heaven? Or is Rome a false church? Does Rome lead people to perdition?

Well, if Rome leads people to Heaven, if Rome is God’s True Church, then the world should get rid of every government which rebels against God’s True Church. You can expect to go to eternal perdition if you rebel against God’s True Church. Who needs these Senates and Parliaments and Executive and Judicial branches? Rome is the only government we need if Rome leads people to Heaven, if Rome is God’s True Church.

But then, on the other hand, if Rome is a false church, if Rome leads people to perdition, if Rome is sunk in heresy and blasphemy and sacrilege, then let’s not have the whole world governed by the Roman Catholic Church.

To review the issues with the cross, either, 1) The cross symbolizes no evil, because the cross is sacred and holy in the eyes of God, or else, 2) The cross symbolizes some evil, because the cross is not sacred and not holy in the sight of God, and, furthermore, lots of evil was perpetrated over the centuries by people carrying crosses.

If you insist there is no God then you’d say Christianity is a big myth and the cross is the symbol of the big myth.

But if Christianity is true, well, we have Christian scriptures which tell us the cross of Christ is sacred, see Galatians 6. 14, Philippians 3. 18 etc. One might argue that these scriptures mean that the very cross Jesus was crucified on is sacred to God, and, furthermore, one might argue, every small representation of the cross which Jesus was crucified on, such as the crosses you see in church and the crosses worn on chains round people’s necks, are sacred to God.

Or, one might argue, these scriptures which tell us the cross of Christ is sacred mean that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross is sacred, but they don’t mean that a pagan instrument of torture and murder, or small representations of the same, such as the crosses you see in church, are sacred in the eyes of the Creator of the Universe.

The Nazis perpetrated evil for a few years
