      Really cute mystery. Looking forward to reading more of this series. Main character Bella Bree McGowan is a cross between Stephanie Plum and Sarah Booth Delaney, two of my favorite characters. She is a country girl, taking care of a farm with horses and tons of dogs, yet she gets into trouble as much as Stephanie does. And she has the same kind of trouble with men. Fun and fluffly book that was very enjoyable.

      Bella Bree MacGowen is a part-time housekeeper at a fancy spa. The head of housekeeping is dead and Bella is the one that discovers the body.Kate George writes a tried and true tale and manages to pull off a well-written story from what has become an overdone plot. Her writing style keeps the reader hanging on until the end.

      Moonlighting in Vermont is a fun, fast-paced mystery by a talented new mystery author. Readers will like the main character, Bella Bree MacGowan, a sassy newspaper typesetter who also moonlights as a housekeeper for an upscale Vermont resort. The New England setting provides a unique and realistic backdrop for the novel. I'm eagerly awaiting another mystery featuring the same characters.
