- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I really hate when a wife stoops to playing foolish games with revenge adultery. Just get a damn divorce and move on. She didn’t have to join him in the mud.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Amanda is better off with Ashton. In just the little snippet we get between Amanda & Ashton, I felt more of a genuine connection than I did with amanda and Neil. The ONLY reason why Neil has suddenly done a 180 and realised that he loves his wife (even when screwing another woman) is because he got caught. No other reason. I wish amanda had enough self-respect to know that.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Just a 'eh' with a shrug. Don't be expecting any angsty emotional read where you are put on a rollercoaster of emotions unless you count wanting to push Neil into a river and giving Amanda a good slap and shake her by the shoulders while yelling 'GET YOURSELF TOGETHER,YOU STUPID WOMAN!'. Ashton is the only good character but everyone knows what happens to good characters in romance novels.

Prologue
There she stood holding a bouquet of blush roses in front of her vintage style, form fitting, cream satin and lace wedding gown. The bodice of the gown was covered in sequence and pearls, but the back had a corset design with a satin ribbon tied into a neat bow in the lower part of her back. She was holding her father’s hand as if her life depended on it staring at the closed double doors that lead into the sanctuary of the church waiting on them to open. Amanda had never dreamed of getting married like most young girls and felt that she had no room in her heart to love anyone other than her parents. And there was a man waiting on her on the other side of the doors whom she loved.
Are you ready for this baby girl?
her father asked and she broke the stare from the door to look at the face that brought her so much comfort and happiness over the years. Her father for so long had been the only man she loved and ran to. But now there was another.
Yes daddy, I am,
was her response.
I know I have asked you this before, but humor your old man.
He paused smiling into his daughters eyes. Are you sure he is the one for my, baby girl?
Yes, daddy he is.
As she said those words she could feel the truth all the way to her soul. And the smile on her face alone would tell anyone that he was the one
for her.
Your mother and I do like him. We see how happy he makes you and it brings us so much joy. Seeing you happy has always been important to us.
Oh, he does make me happy. I have never felt this way before. He looks at me the way you look at mom and I understand just how she feels about you.
Well that is all I need to know.
He lightly kissed his daughter on the cheek. They're playing your song. It’s time to make you, Mrs. Amanda Washington, sweetheart.
Amanda smiled at her father knowing that her life would change for the better. She was about to be married to the man of her dreams. As the doors opened and they walked down the aisle Amanda looked at the many faces and eyes watching her and her father, but it was the man waiting on her at the end of aisle whose eyes she locked on to that made her smile radiate all over her face.
Neil Washington, the man she would spend the rest of her life waking up with every day and would grow old with. Neil was six two, curly sandy-brown hair, light brown eyes, and a body that you could tell through the tux he wore was well sculpted. And his smile drew your eyes to his kissable lips that you could tell were soft as feathers that framed his pretty, straight, white teeth. Amanda felt so happy that those lips would never touch another woman the way they would touch hers.
Chapter 1
As Neil Washington lay on his back with his wife across his chest sleeping and well sated from their night of love making. The happiness and pride he felt in his heart for having this beautiful woman in his life and in his bed was something he could not describe. Even after being married to her for two years, his feeling for her grew stronger every day. He had never imaged meeting and loving someone as much as he loved his wife. How he had wanted her in his life from the first time he saw her on campus at Hamstead University taking notes in her marketing class. Who would have known that he would have found something so great that would change his life in the state of Alabama, of all places.
Neil had not been looking forward to attending school in Alabama because he had no family or friends there. The law school there was excellent and he was excited about starting at the Clarkston School of Law to be become the lawyer he had always dreamed about becoming. But then he saw Amanda and followed her around the campus for an entire month before getting the courage up to approach her. She was on her third year there working on her BA in Marketing. He had found out many things about her by setting near her in some places listening to her conversations. So one day after a football game he final worked up the nerve to approach her.
Hi,
Neil said tapping Amanda on the shoulder. When she turned around he knew he was doing the right thing. She was about five-four, shoulder length curly brown hair and her eyes were a beautiful shade of grey that danced in the lights from the field. He had never been this close to her
