About this ebook
Flight attendant Betty started a wildly popular podcast about airline travel, sharing funny stories from the air, now listened to by half a million Betty fans worldwide. By popular demand, here’s the best of Betty in what may be the world’s first podcast-turned-book, or “pook”. It's a wonderful way to be entertained in the airport, on a plane, at home, and anywhere you want a good laugh!
Betty N. Thesky
Betty was born the youngest of ten children in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She knew from a young age that she wanted to travel and see the world. After graduating from Shippensburg University, she got a job as a flight attendant for a major airline. Betty currently lives in Los Angeles, California and is still flying—so you might see her on your next flight! In September 2006 she started her own podcast called “Betty in the Sky with a Suitcase.” Composed of airline and travel stories, the podcast is reminiscent of an old fashioned radio show, giving listeners an insider’s view of life in the air.You can find more information at www.BettyInTheSky.com

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I've been enjoying Betty's podcast for some years now and figured I'd buy her book to say "thanks" for all the effort she puts into producing it. This collection of stories she's gathered during her travels are certainly amusing although some of the included airline/aviation jokes have been around since teletype machines, the bulk of the book is new.Well worth getting & I'm looking forward to the next edition.
