    Wounded Victim Consciousness versus Spirituality

Whilst lying in bed this morning around 4 am, I started to think about what true spirituality actually meant. Spiritual growth is all about aligning one self to the consciousness of God - Unconditional Love. This could be labelled as God realisation, the realisation of the energetic nature of God which is pure unconditional love, which is true love.

If one is to attain God realisation or an awakened spiritual conscious state, one needs to align, merge, and literally become the frequency of true love. True love is living in a full state of detached allowance, which creates full movement of spiritual consciousness to flow in and out, holding oneself in an awakened state. In this state, divine energy is the only energy impacting on your existence. One becomes love and pure, radiating the energetic quality of God in all of its glory.

Understanding this, I realised everything I do in every moment has to generate unconditional love, if I have any chance of true spiritual growth. Anytime I do not create the energy of unconditional love in the moment, I am not supporting myself spiritually. If I am serious about becoming more spiritual this has to be considered.

This also started me thinking about my wounded victim self, and how it continually looks for ways to feel supported and better about itself. The wounded victim sees non-truth as truth and recognizes the deluded concept of imperfection (the feeling of lack or incompleteness on some level). Wounded victim then continually tries to make me feel better by being reactive to many experiences seen as attacks on my value. It justifies negative reaction as a supportive thing to my life.

Wounded victim appears in many ways in society. The cosmetic surgery industry for one, thrives on the non-truth of imperfection. People feel by improving the look of the body that it makes them more whole or better. Yes, it might make them feel better about themselves and you might say that is a good thing, however spiritually speaking, this gives more weight to non-truth which is the opposite way to spiritual growth.

Sometimes I truly do not understand when I see people that are on a spiritual path doing and creating experiences that are not in alignment with truth. I think, Don't they understand that they are working against their spiritual growth? If one has a sincere and committed desire to grow spiritually, then why create energy of non-truth. Why do/create the opposite of what you desire. I also understand our conditioning creates this, but that still does not make me feel better about it.

When someone does anything to support non-truth, one is in that moment, not in alignment with spiritual growth. In spiritual truth, wherever we are in life, how we look, what we do, is all perfect for us. Everything that happens to us, for us, is us, and is what is meant to occur. Every experience that is experienced is the exact experience one should have, as this is your Divine reason for being here. However, if one is serious about growing, one has to always do their best at only generating truth (unconditional Love)

If you sincerely wish to move yourself into a higher spiritual state, look for ways in each moment to create loving energy.
