About this ebook

It has been 2000 years since Jesus has walked the earth. People have expected Him to return again and gather His people together ever since. Is it time? Could there be events happening right now which might suggest He could return within days or hours?

What does the Bible say? We will compare what Matthew, Mark and Luke have to say about Jesus’ return. We will mention a Jewish prophecy which may be happening right now. We will also mention an event happening in the sky above us which may be preparing the way for Jesus’ return within days or hours from this very moment!

Are you ready to meet Him? How would you get ready?

I, David Bush, would like to take the time to thank you for your interest in my books. I have not been an author for long, but I do have a desire to help people and to share my experience and interests with people.I know some of you are wondering who I am, so I will write a little something about myself.I was raised in a small town in Pennsylvania by fine Christian parents. I accepted Jesus as my savior at a young age and was raised in a Methodist Church. I have stayed true to Jesus to this day.In 1977, a good friend invited me to a Christian convention in New Wilmington, PA where I had a powerful, life-changing experience that has helped me immensely! An experience some people call the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. That was wonderful and this experience still has an effect on my life all these years later. The Holy Spirit helped me work through many issues in my my life including an inability to feel secure in my faith and with the difficult time I had being comfortable in Jesus as a gay Christian. As for my sexual orientation I knew I was gay from a very young age, although I didn't know exactly what it was back then. I knew, however, I liked other men.I did date girls at one time and I loved them as good friends and I enjoyed their company, but I did not love them as a man is expected to love a woman. I did end up marrying a woman who I loved as a friend, but who I could not love as a wife. How or why that happened, I don't fully understand. But I do know it happens to a lot of gay people. Needless to say, this marriage didn't last. It couldn't because I couldn't fulfill my marital duties to her.Even so, I stayed "in the closet" for years for many reasons. I did not even want to admit my sexual orientation, even to myself, although a few people knew I was gay. A lot of other people thought they knew I was gay', but they didn't know it officially. Their intrusive presumptions bothered me and made me angry!I didn't know how people would react to my "coming out" in spite of many rumors to that effect. I wasn't sure I wanted to "come out" because emotionally I wasn't ready, because I didn't know how this would hurt my witness for Jesus and because I didn't want to hurt my family.I believe my parents always knew I was gay, but they didn't want to know it. I guess I respected that, and we all were more comfortable with this arrangement. Never the less, both of my parents did welcome Doug into the family before they died. This was a beautiful thing to have happen.I met my wonderful, loving partner, Doug, who worked in a restaurant I used to frequent. We became good friends and on March, 21, 2005, we gave our hearts to each other and he has been my one and only spouse ever since. We've been very happy ever since. Wow! What a first day of spring! In addition to being a gay man who loves Jesus and who has a wonderful spouse, I have a few interests which have captivated me on and off throughout my entire life. But as all of these things cycled in and out of my head and my heart, a few prominent interests seem to keep me captivated very consistently. The top of the list has to be trains. I have loved trains my whole life. I love watching them, riding them, listening to them and I loved the beauty, nostalgia and the prestige that surrounded them. I love the exhaustive history, technology and engineering which goes into trains, track and the mechanical and electrical systems found on the rails. I guess it was always in my blood and everybody knew it! I was widely known as an avid rail fan and there were just no two ways about it!I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work for three different railroads, and on two of them, I was a locomotive engineer, a freight and passenger conductor and a signal maintainer.I also want to share with you that I was a long-haul truck driver for a few years. I loved the job most of the time, although the road got pretty long sometimes, but for me, anyway, the big trucks did not have the same glory and splendor a train has.I am also interested in electricity and alternative energy. Even as a kid, I used to design wind mills and low-voltage lighting systems in my head, which were suitable for a tree house or a camp. I still enjoy doing this, but now the systems I design could be used in a house or a small business. In fact, the last few power outages we have had, we still had a few lights when our neighbors had none. These systems won't power the whole city, but it does give us some help when we need it. Help in the form of electricity. That is pretty cool!Thank you once again for taking the time to look at my books (Just one now, but I do have plans to write more). I also want to thank you for taking the time to read my bio.I hope you are enjoying your reading experience and find these words interesting and inspiring. Best regards to you always.David Bush

    Preface

I do not want to be an alarmist, but for those who are Christian people, what I have to say in this book could be very exciting! For those who are not Christian people, this book can be disturbing and for good reason!

But hold on! Nobody knows they day or the hour that Jesus will return. We can only know the season. I do not know the day or the hour Jesus is coming either, but I do see signs Jesus is coming very soon!

As we know, there have been many attempts to say Jesus is coming on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00. Jesus said there would be these false calls, but the damage they can do to the Kingdom of Heaven can be very costly although it should not be!

Every time someone says Jesus will come on such and such a day, and He doesn't come on that day, there are people who are disappointed, discouraged and use it as an excuse to stop believing, which is the opposite of what they should do because Jesus said they would make their faulty announcements.

What is just as sad is some people have killed themselves and their followers when an announcement of His return was made or they have followed the wrong messiah!

When Jesus comes, He will appear in the sky and everyone will see Him. He will NOT be taking lives, but He will be giving life to those who have passed away who belong to Him. He will also gather His own who are still alive and take them to Heaven with Him, an event a lot of people will try to explain away.

Let me inject here, contrary to what a lot of people believe, I believe not everyone who belongs to Jesus will be taken at that time. Some will have work to do during the tribulation. Some people are not quite ready to meet Jesus because they have not obeyed Him. because they don't quite believe, because they cannot forgive others or because they beat their fellow servants [try to slam Heaven's door in the face of other believers (because of their sexual orientation)] or who abuse street drugs and drink too much alcohol (Matthew 24: 45 - 51).

Many people were told not to be afraid of what is about to happen in the seven letters Jesus has written to the 7 churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 while others are told they are or may be worthy to escape the time of testing coming upon the earth. This is also repeated in Luke 21: 36 where we are again told Many of God's people will be taken; those who are counted worthy, which must mean many who were expecting to go will actually be left to face the time of testing.

I also fear many of God's own won't even try to win this battle they have been thrown into (which proves Jesus' point of why He didn't take those people). I also believe many people who believe
