    Introduction

    The Rapture Theory

The rapture theory is the belief in a secret pre-tribulation snatching away of Christians. Even though there were some Godly well-meaning early church scholars who believed in a secret pre-tribulation rapture event, they also believed that they were living in the end times. Since they believed they were living in the end times, they also believed that Jesus’ return was imminent and that nothing else had to take place before His return. Those early church scholars were wrong they just could not understand end time prophecy in their day. The Bible says this book is to be sealed up until the time of the end. This simply means people just were not going to be able to understand certain prophecy until it was time to be able to understand them. Also, it’s a lot easier to interpret prophecy after it happens, obviously.

Fast forward to the 20th century. We now know that Israel had to come into their nation again before the end time events time-line could start. Most scholars then and today believe this happened in 1948. They also believed that forty years was a generation and that it would not pass before Jesus returned again. That’s why once again we had many well-meaning scholars like the Hale Lindsey’s and Jack Van Impe’s of the world who taught that the rapture would happen in the 1980’s. Now most pre-tribulation rapture scholars have just adopted the view of an imminent return of Jesus that could happen at any time, believing that everything has happened for Jesus to return. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

Now that we are in 2015, we know that these beliefs are wrong. So where does this leave us? What can we understand now about end time prophecy that we couldn’t understand or just did not see before? We now can understand that Israel did not possess Jerusalem until 1967. At that time the Six Day War (fought for six days and rested on the seventh), was a fingerprint God left to show His hand in this prophesied event. A lot of prophecy centers on Jerusalem and the temple, not just the nation of Israel. Therefore Israel may not have been considered completed without the city of Jerusalem itself. Now a forty-year generation still leaves us at 2007, so was Jesus wrong when He said a generation will not pass when the fig tree blooms? Of course not! We simply had it wrong regarding how long the generation is that Jesus was referring to. This belief in a forty-year generation just fit the narrative of the day for whatever reasons. So how long is the proper length of time for a generation in these end times? We can make a best guess that it is around seventy to eighty years (Psalm 90:10). This fits a more realistic scenario we find ourselves in today with a return date of Jesus likely being sometime before 2047.

No one can say for sure how long a generation is. I chose seventy years because it’s the most logical at this time and there are some scriptures that lean towards seventy years. Also I like to think Jesus will return exactly 2000 years from when He was crucified, which would be around 2029 which is also a Shemitah year. God is funny like that and He loves playing with dates and numbers. Keep in mind that no one knows for sure when any events will exactly take place. The dates I use in the series are not to be taken dogmatically. I’m just trying to emphasize that Jesus is returning soon. Although I personally can’t see this world going on much further, regardless of how long a generation is, one thing is for sure. We are in the end times.

Since we are the ones actually living in the end times, we have a better understanding of prophecy. Can we know for sure when the rapture will take place? Can we know the exact events leading up to it? Do we know when the tribulation will begin with Jesus returning victoriously at the end? Sadly the answer to these questions is, no. But as watchmen on the walls, can we know if the time is near? Yes!

So where does this leave us with the theory of the rapture. Where is the best source to go to in order to be able to understand when the rapture will take place? Of course the best source for answers is the Bible. Who better to refer to than the words of Jesus Himself to prove this? Also when will we be in the great tribulation time-line? If you ask anyone you know, you will find we all have our own theories and beliefs about these events and time-lines. That’s why I’m not going to bore you with charts, endless Bible verses and who believed what, when, where and the idea of the rapture teachings origins to get the point across. I will simply go off what the Bible and Jesus say in pure black and white.

One thing before we begin that must be understood is the Bible is not written to unbelievers (1 Corinthians 2:14). They cannot understand it because it’s foolish to them. They don’t have the spiritual discernment that we have as believers. So when you read prophecy in the Bible, it is directed to us as believers and it’s for us to be warned and for us to be fore told, not unbelievers. When Jesus talks, especially when He is mentioning prophecy, he is talking to us, not just to the disciples, Amen.

Let’s start with this idea of all prophecy is fulfilled that needs to take place before the imminent return of Jesus that fuels the pre-tribulation rapture theory. In Ezekiel 37, we have the return of Israel (1948 thru 1967) then in Ezekiel 38 and 39 we have a prophecy of a war that leads Israel into seven years of peace (Ezekiel 39:9). Ezekiel 40-48 I believe, talks about the future rebuilding of the temple. Daniel 9:25 it possibly suggests that it takes place in turbulent times, the tribulation.

So when did this prophesied war happen that must occur before the rapture that God Himself intervenes in and saves Israel? This war has yet to happen. This will all occur right before the beginning of the tribulation. This war will somehow bring about the peace signing with the revealing of the Anti-Christ (Daniel 9:27). The Anti-Christ then will make a covenant with many nations. Not just Israel but the whole world will agree to this covenant, or at least the major players of the world at that time will. This will be the beginning of the seven-year tribulation which the Anti-Christ will break the covenant half way through starting the world wide persecution of the church during the great tribulation which is the last half of the tribulation time line.

Now that we know these events will happen, let’s see what Jesus says about Christian believers who are living in the end times. Are we going to witness these events or are we going to be raptured out of here before things happen? I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t pretend to be a scholar of end time prophecy, but even I know it’s really hard to take some of the leaps and bounds that some people take to try and prove one way or the other what the Bible says will happen during the end times. Remember, it’s always easier to interpret prophecy after it happens. So I like to keep it simple and direct. I just ask God for discernment when I read and study all passages in the Bible. So let us see what Jesus says about the end times and leave it at that.

In Matthew 24 we read that the disciples asked Jesus what will happen in the end times. Jesus doesn’t beat around the bush with his answer either. This is known as the Olivet Discourse. Jesus tells them that the Christians who are alive during these end times will be delivered into tribulation and will be killed, also that all nations will hate Christians (Matthew 24:9). (This one little verse should be enough to settle the argument, because the Bible doesn’t contradict itself. But sadly the hardest thing to do is change what someone already believes).

Then Jesus goes on to warn believers that are alive in these end times that we will see great deceptions like false teachers misleading the Church, the Anti-Christ, Aliens Ect. . These deceptions will even fool the elect, if it were possible (Matthew 24:24). We will see the Anti-Christ enter the newly built temple and demand to be worshiped. This is when the great tribulation begins for Christians and Jews alike (Matthew 24:15). After a while, say around three years, Jesus will cut short these days. He will do this for the sake of Christians who are being persecuted and slaughtered during the great tribulation by the Anti-Christ (Matthew 24:22).

How and when will the gathering of Christians and the return of Jesus take place? Immediately after the tribulation of those days, Jesus will come in the clouds for the whole world to see His glory. Then He will send His angels with a great last trumpet to gather the Christians from all over the world (Matthew 24:29-31). Then God’s wrath will be poured out on those that are left behind. Jesus says these days will be like the days of Noah. The world will be living under the tyranny and slavery of the Satan and his fallen angels, thinking everything is fine while Christians are being persecuted up until the very end (Matthew 24:37-41). Why is the world living like there’s nothing wrong while all this is happening? The answer is that unbelievers would rather believe a lie then the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:9-11).

You might have noticed one thing missing as you read Matthew 24 when Jesus is talking to the disciples about the end times. There is no mention of a secret snatching away of Christians before the tribulation which people commonly refer to as the rapture. Yet, there is at the end of the tribulation with Jesus’ victorious return in the clouds for the whole world to see the gathering of His elect. I don’t know about you but my Lord and Savior will not lie to me or mislead me. If there was a rapture that was going to happen before the great tribulation, He would have told us here when He was asked by the disciples.

In finishing, I would like to mention here the only two small parts of scripture in the Bible that a pre-tribulation believer could use to argue the timing of the rapture. ‘I will keep you from the hour of trial’ Revelations 3:10 and ‘Come up hither’ Revelations 4:1. These few words fly in the face of all other scripture and the history of the persecution of God’s people and His judgments on sin for example Noah and the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Holocaust and millions of our Christian brothers and sisters in Africa and the Middle East that have been slaughtered in recent years up to this very hour.

Now in these cases and many, many more, I don’t believe God ever raptured any of them out. He brought them through it with their faith; God’s people have always gone through tribulation. The only difference is that the great tribulation will be brought on all the Christians of the world by Satan himself. God will bring us through this too, by faith until Jesus returns. This is where we are possibly raptured up before the wrath of God or supernaturally kept safe through His wrath. This will take place sometime before the end of the great tribulation. I am not sure because I don’t pretend to be God and know all the answers, like some do.

Now I know you can find some verses in the Bible that can be turned and twisted around to make it sound like a pre-tribulation rapture event could happen, but we simply can’t take symbolic sections of scripture and interpret them in such a way as to make it contradict other clearer, more literal portions of the Bible. We know that the vast amount of prophecy is about Jesus coming the first time and His second coming, called the day of the Lord, which is mistaken as the pre-tribulation rapture (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). Within any verses you will not find them saying the rapture will happen before the tribulation. In fact it’s the opposite. Just ask yourself if these end times are so important to God that He felt He needed to take up so much of the Bible to convey to His children about them, wouldn’t He tell us all through the Bible and not just in a few obscured verses that there is this rapture that’s going to take place and we don’t have to worry about it? Of course He would! Actually on the Mount of Olives Jesus warns us about being delivered into the great tribulation of the Anti-Christ and being persecuted even unto death. This end time prophecy is called the Olivet Discourse. Please wake up my friends, we are heading into perilous times and our faith will be tested. We need to be tribulation ready, not rapture ready, Amen.

The Rapture Theory Series goals are the following:

    1. To glorify Jesus Christ first and foremost.

(If one soul might come to the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ through reading these books, it would make all our time and effort we’ve put into them worth it, Amen!)

    2. To open the eyes of believers or whoever reads these books in regard to the false teaching of the pre-tribulation rapture and of the coming deception whatever it maybe.

(Whatever Satan has been working on for thousands of years to deceive the world in the end times will be mind blowing. I personally believe the rapture is part of the deception that will cause disillusion among believers when it doesn’t happen. This will lead them to be unprepared spiritually and emotionally to deal with the deception and persecution that lies ahead. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard the passive way of thinking for example: Who cares? The Christians will be raptured out before all this happens.)

    3. To warn believers of the coming persecution of the church through a fictional story.

(God just put it on my heart to write a Christian fiction story that takes place during the tribulation. That doesn’t start off with the rapture and tells of the coming persecution of the church. Most everything in these books, as hard as it may seem to believe, are real or are being developed secretly in some cases. For example, anti-gravity, it is real and used in some forms today. Just keep this perspective in mind as you read the story. If at times you feel something is too outlandish, it is fiction but the message is what’s important. Not to mention Satan is very capable of relaying scientific knowledge down to humans too.)

My hope and prayer is that everyone who reads this book series not only enjoys reading them but is inspired to seek out the truth for themselves, just as I have.

May, God bless you in these end times.

    -Clifton E. Winn-

There is a war that’s been waging on for thousands of years, a spiritual battle over good and evil. Throughout the ages those battles have spilled over into the mortal plane of existence. The fight is for the souls of mankind. In the beginning there was creation, in the end there will be destruction…

It was not my intention to doubt that, the Doctrines of the Illuminati, and principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more truly satisfied of this fact than I am…and actually had a separation of the People from their Government in view, is too evident to be questioned.

    Chapter 1

    THE ENLIGHTENED ONES

    Munich, Bavaria 1776

In the cover of night, a blanket of dense fog rolled in from the Isar River that flowed through Munich the capital city of Bavaria. On the narrow cobble stone streets all was still except for a single elaborately carved wooden carriage being pulled by two powerful and massive black Percheron horses. Barely piercing through the thick fog and misty air, the dim light from the torches on the carriage were just enough for the driver to be able to navigate his way slowly towards the town square. Their destination was Hotel Torbrau, the oldest and most elegant in Munich. This hotel was a favorable gathering location for the wealthy and powerful elite of the era.

At Hotel Torbrau the doorman could hear the scraping of the impressive horses hooves against the solid cobble stone street. The heavy breathing coming from them grew nearer. As the wheels of the carriage creaked to a halt at the grand entrance, the horses bucked with a slight unease. The doorman felt they sensed the same thing he did and a foreboding jitter coursed through their nerves. Oblivious of the pure demonic evil that had just arrived to embark itself onto the world, the doorman hurried to the carriage door, opened it and stepped to the side to welcome the new guest with a greeting.

Good evening. Welcome to the Hotel Torbrau. His voice was flat and sounded rehearsed. As the figure inside rose from his seat and stepped out of the carriage, the doorman was instantly attracted to his presence. Although the lighting was dim and the fires cast shadows upon the man’s face, one could still observe that he was a decently handsome young man. Thoughts flooded the doorman’s mind. What man of importance is this? How can a man of such young age have so much power and purpose in the way he moved? As these thoughts distracted the doorman, he almost didn’t catch the strangers reply to his greeting.

Good evening. Even when the guest had only spoken two words, it called for your immediate attention. Every syllable screamed for the listener to be alert and aware. His tone demanded he be taken seriously no matter what the situation at hand. The doorman became uneasy as his intuition told him this man was powerful, wealthy, and of importance, yet he had no idea who he was.

How was your trip, sir? the doorman asked with more interest in his voice now. The man scoffed at the doorman’s tedious small talk and walked towards the entrance of the hotel. The man then paused and stared up at the Hotel Torbrau. Sensing that the guest wasn’t one for small talk, the doorman quickly moved toward the rear of the carriage while asking, May I take your bags, sir?

Of course. Go on now, the man said, slightly annoyed that the doorman even had to ask. He clearly doesn’t recognize me, the man thought. Before letting himself become too worried over someone as trivial as a doorman, he remembered that only a few people truly knew who he really was. Over the years he’d learned to control his narcissism by being short with people who were of absolutely no importance to him.

Right this way, sir. We will get you checked in so you can get settled into your quarters for the night. The doorman led the way to the entrance. As they entered the hotel lobby, a sudden crack of a whip sounded from behind them and the horses fired back to work and carried the driver and carriage out of sight. The overly relaxed desk clerk was startled back to the living from the entranceway commotion and glanced up at the two people coming into the lobby. He immediately recognized the guest arriving and jumped up to greet him.

Good evening, Master Weishaupt. We weren’t expecting your arrival until tomorrow morning. No worries. How were your travels? the desk clerk asked with a hint of excitement at his arrival in his voice.

They are going as good as one can expect, my good man. I hope your night is going well. Adam Weishaupt replied. He was happy to finally encounter someone who knew who he was.

Oh, yes, it has been, sir. Thank you. You will be staying in room 516 as you requested. Edward, he said with a gesture towards the doorman, will show you to your room now unless there is anything else I can be of service to you.

Yes, Adam replied. Could you be so kind as to make sure I’m not disturbed. I have a big meeting tomorrow.

As you wish, Master Weishaupt. I will personally see to it. Good night, sir.

Thank you, my good man and good night. Adam followed Edward to his room though he already knew the way. He had spent time here at the hotel before. He favored room 516. He felt it was more solitary. On the fifth floor, the room was the furthest away from the lobby’s noise and pollution. When they reached the room, Edward unlocked the door and set Adam’s bags inside then turned to hand him the key.

Is there anything else I can do for you before you retire for the night, Master Weishaupt? Edward asked as he bowed and extended his palm for a tip.

No, that will be all, thank you, Adam said as he dug through a jacket pocket for the silver coin he placed in Edward’s palm. Edward straightened up trying to contain his composure and turned and left the room, shutting the door behind him. Adam had seen Edward’s slight smile as he left. The silver coin he had tipped Edward was probably more than the young lad made in a week’s time, but to Adam Weishaupt it was a nuisance weighing his pockets down. Adam believed that to have none of the financial worries the general population had meant the power and the ability to control nations was lying right at his fingertips.

Adam unpacked his belongings then made his way out to the balcony to get some fresh air after his long journey. As he stepped out onto the balcony, he envisioned himself up on high, looking down on the people that would eventually worship him. This empowered him as he looked forward to the day he would rule over this world, reigning as their God. Just the thought of it all put a sinister grin on his face. With that image still on his mind, he finally was relaxed enough to retire for the night.

The next day Adam made his way to the hotel’s private conference room that he had reserved for his meeting. He passed the desk clerk in the lobby and bid him good day but kept walking before getting a reply. He had important business to attend to and didn’t have time for conversations with the help now. As he approached the closed oak doors leading into the conference room, he could hear the muffled voices of his guests coming from inside. Adam took a deep breath and gathered his thoughts, and with that, he made his grand entrance.

As his strides carried him to the front of the room, silence quickly spread over the meeting attendees. Adam looked carefully around at his guests, mentally noting why he had chosen each one. They all had individual abilities and connections to help bring about his master plan. Looking around he nodded appreciatively at his dear friend and trusted ally, Xavier Von Zwack. Xavier was a lawyer and judge, making him someone whose support Adam definitely wanted to have. To Xavier’s left was a young musician, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Music and entertainment were powerful influences on culture. Among the rest of the guests was Cagliostro, leader of the Luciferians, the most powerful occultist leader in Europe; the Baron Adolf Franz Friederich Knigge who was the inside man to most of the secret
