About this ebook
In this book different stories are written through the eyes of the subject. Have you ever wondered what people are thinking or how they are feeling? This book tells a few stories through their eyes. The one story is about a dying mother, and her experiences of her life. Another story in this collection is through the eyes of a horse and what he endures in his lifetime. The last story is about a house and how it sees families move in and out through their lives as it watches each group. These stories will keep you thinking, “I always wondered what that would be like.”

***Story 1 - Her Lifetime***
She was in a deep sleep when she woke up to a very loud noise in her head. It was a very loud buzzing. She couldn’t open her eyes, which seemed odd to her. Once they were opened, she tried to focus them, but couldn’t. From what she could see she was in a very bright room. It wasn’t her bedroom. She felt awful, all groggy and she had a blinding headache. She had never felt such strange pain before, it was encompassing her entire body. She noticed that her eyes were different somehow. Why couldn’t she swallow, she was so thirsty. And where was she?
It took her a long while, she didn’t know how long, but she started to remember who she was. She tried to remember her past, and parts of it came back to her. She vaguely remembered a crushing pain while she was driving that day, possibly a car accident? She kept thinking and trying to remember. It came back to her slowly.
After the pain she immediately saw a very bright light surrounded by darkness, similar to a tunnel. People she knew from her past were there. They were saying it wasn’t time for her to leave and she must go back. She thought to herself, back to where? And these relatives were dead for years, where was she? She was confused, but didn’t want to go back, she wanted to stay. There was love surrounding her and people she had missed standing near her. She recognized her mother and grandmother and wanted to stay with them. The love and light were overwhelming. The meeting was short lived, however, as they started to fade away. Then all of a sudden, she was here, in this bright room with this strange pain. She supposed she was in a hospital, of course, but where was everyone? She started to panic inside herself.
Lilly tried to move her head, but she couldn’t. It felt as if it was nailed down into place or something. She could hear the heart monitor beeping, but not easily through the strange sound she kept hearing. She tried to speak, to get a nurses attention, but only a small gurgle came out. The next thing she tried to do was to raise her hand to her head and try to wipe her eyes, but that didn’t work either. Uh oh, she thought, this is bad. I can’t lift my arms or feel my legs. Now what do I do?
I’m so thirsty, she thought again, and tried to lick her lips and swallow but couldn’t. She couldn’t touch her lips, they were bandaged somehow, she supposed. Her tongue was extremely dry and tasted just awful inside her mouth. Since she couldn’t do anything else, she looked through her blurry eyes, trying to see the television show. She wished her pain would go away, as well as
