    The Negative Effect on the Family

    "My daughter began abusing pills at an early age, and then progressed to heroine. The lies, deceit and theft grew worse as she fell further into the clutches of drugs and this horrible addiction. To support the addiction, she robbed people, begged for money, and by a few comments made by her, it lead me to believe she has prostituted. There have been a few incidents where she stole cash from her younger sister, traded her laptop for drugs, stole and pawned jewelry from her grandparents, as well as stole checks from them to cash for drug use. She has completed rehab twice and been discharged unsuccessfully from 2 other facilities. The biggest part of her problem is that she continues to communicate with those who are addicts. One police officer made the statement
