Many of us worry about what the future holds for us and Humanity, as a whole. Will it be a future of tragic climate changes, drought, war, famine and over-population problems or will we create a Utopian world of harmony, respect for Mother Nature and tolerance to all races and cultures?

Tony and I, Robyn, as experienced spiritual channellers of Higher Beings, such as the Ascended Masters, (Mother Mary, Kwan Yin, Sananda, Kuthumi etc.) and Archangels and angelic Teachers such as Michael, Ariel, Raphael, Sandalphon and Hermes, have received many inspiring channellings or messages from these beings, over the last twenty years. Chapter One - Daily Life 2050 AD.

"Caxl woke from a deep sleep with a start. She had been dreaming of her late father and the dream disturbed her, as she did not often think of him or his death. The society of her day had dismissed religion as insignificant and young people like her no longer looked towards it for comfort or reason. She stared at the ceiling for several minutes, until with a resigned sigh, she arose from her bed and walked a few steps to her bathroom and entered the sonic shower and washed away all her grime and lingering sleepiness.

She greeted her home computer with three words, ‘Messages today, Max?’ and a pleasant, male voice greeted her warmly. A pleasant day to you, Caxl. Temperature is 25 degrees. Three messages have been received. One from your Mother concerning your plans for your birthday on Saturday. One from your co-worker, Alexx concerning a meal and drink at the Shasha Bar, Region 6, this afternoon at fifteen hours. And, one from your friend, Bene, in Lagos, concerning her holiday adventures at a wildlife reserve. She hasn’t apparently encountered many wild animals, yet. Will I send them messages by return waves?

Caxl opened a health supplement bar and ate it slowly, as she shrugged her slim, brown body into an artificial silk shift of vibrant orange colours that matched her newly dyed flame-coloured hair.

Yes, answer all three with the usual greeting and say I look forward to seeing them all and add to Bene’s wave, that I hope she takes care and doesn’t get eaten by a lion, if there are any left! Also computer, order more water and food bars!

She sipped a glass of chilled recycled water slowly and appreciatively. Water was a scarce resource these days and was to be enjoyed as a privilege not a necessity. Only first and second grade workers had the cleanest, most fragrant water. Lower grade workers and the unemployed were allotted one litre a day, of inferior quality recycled water that smelt faintly of ammonia.

Finally, she was ready to set out for her workplace. A solar-powered hover-bus pulled up in front of her tower block and she stepped inside. She smiled at several regular commuters, sat back and enjoyed the relaxing ride to
