About this ebook
Locked in this book you shall see, the way of the world seen by me.
I am not rude, unkind or unjust, I simply say what I feel I must.
If my words hurt you in anyway, I'm sorry and please turn away.
If my words inspire you to write yourself, then don't place this book upon a shelf.
Keep reading, keep going deeper, and deeper, maybe the answer you'll find if you linger.
I've written on topics I know nothing about; but I do it right, there is not a doubt.
This is my escape from the world we know, and these are my feelings I let show.
This is how I release my pain silently, unknown by anyone else but me.
This is how I cry those tears so wet, as alone in the dark I have sat.
I have mourned, I have been overjoyed, I have wished my life would be depolyed.
There are poems locked behind these covers you'd never see, unless written by someone like me.
Poetry is not a dying skill nowadays, even as the dying sun casts it's final rays.
Poetry is alive and well in young hearts all around, they just keep quiet without a sound.
I bet if you look in each young high schooler's room, you shall find they see it like a tomb.
They write out their anger, their lust, and their pain, and how they feel they've left not a stain.
Like the world wouldn't miss them at all if they've left, if Death came and made that theft.
They don't see their value in their own lives just yet, sadly some won't make that bet.
This is many high schooler's silent help cry, as help is too late they always ask why.
Read on into this jaded world of my own, as in these pages these's words I've sown.
Read on at your own leasure or don't read at all, but sit there and say I’ve got the gall.
This is a book full of each different feeling, each one has it's own special meaning.
Don't read this book any farther if you are easily offended, if life is peachy you have pretended.
You shall be mad at me for the words I say, but I shall not back down any day.
I stand by my words, each and everyone, and I will still stand when the day is done.

This book is dedicated to my loving family and friends whom without this book would never have made it. Also to my high school English teachers; as well as Michaela Young. A young life that was cut far too short. R.I.P Michaela, your mother and miss you greatly and you shall forever hold a special place in our hearts. This also is thanks to my loving husband, and my beautiful daughter, who without his support never would have happened.

To my best friend’s baby…
I heard it today as I awoke from my sleep; and I pray the Lord your soul to keep.
Michaela it breaks my heart as I write this out; that you’re gone there is not a doubt.
Your mother and I can’t ever hold you; what you looked like I’ll never have a single clue.
Baby girl it’s hard to even write this to you; when my heart is broken in two.
I had so many plans all ready to go; but you’re in heaven now, you already did go.
There’s nothing that can ease the pain we feel; even knowing one day we’ll heal.
We want you back, we want you to stay; and no matter what, not to go away.
We want to see how your eyes would sparkle; as your ever whim we could coddle.
We sit now as tears run down our face; because soon there’ll be no trace.
You will be only a memory in our heart; something that will never be taken apart.
Michaela Aaron Hope Young your forever with us, and you’ll never be torn away from us.
We’ll always remember you little one; and we’ll still cry with the setting sun.
Fallen Angel that Need Help

A cry to end the unneeded child abuse….
I see her walk through the halls at school; not understanding why life’s so cruel.
Hidden beneath the long sleeves she hides; and out of her mouth a river of lies.
She says she’s fallen and hit her head; what isn’t said is she wishes she was dead.
I watch her walk home all alone; as her little heart is nothing but stone.
She sits in her room as she awaits his return; so his hands her skin may once again burn.
Her night is filled with nothing but tears; as she relives all her terrifying fears.
She lays cold and alone on the floor; just waiting for him to come back for more.
I look in her window with the night; and wish to God I could show her the light.
He tells me that I have to wait; before too long it will be too late.
I don’t want that angel to be hurt again’ but going against God is a horrid sin.
So I must sit and watch his hand fall against her face; and that bruise is another trace.
I watch her as she goes to school; not understanding why he’s so cruel.
But as the night alls again tonight; I see that God was right.
Her tears stop and the cries suddenly cease; because of that man she is now deceased.
But that angel is now safe with me; and she is forever and always free.
I let her fly with me to Heaven’s gate; and we fly through we don’t hesitate.
She looks at God’s
