Saturday; the first day of the bank holiday weekend and the town seemed deserted. The sun was shining and everyone had leapt into their cars and headed for the beach. Deborah and Paul decided that they didn't want to spend most of the day stuck in traffic so instead they got the bus into the centre of town and made their way to the park. They spread towels on the grass by the lake, powered up their Kindles, and set about absorbing some ultra-violet.
