The author is a mother of six, who suffered through minor infertility and beat it through learning what the problems were through fertility charting. She successfully used natural methods to overcome luteal phase defects, miscarriage and even to prevent preterm labor and premature birth. She spent many years researching the subject of human reproduction and wrote many articles about it over the past dozen years, including this eBook.
For many women, reaching the point of looking for those all desired signs of pregnancy is a long rough road. There are great advances in medical technology to help women with major infertility issues but women with minor infertility are left trying to conceive for many years before they figure out what the minor issues are and can finally do something to help them.
A Couple of Excerpts from the Book:
"Is it true that ovulation occurs on day 14 of every woman’s cycle? In spite of the consensus, the answer is a resounding NO."
" Charting your fertility signs can determine many different potential problems about your fertility cycle. Of these things are anovulation, low progesterone, luteal phase defect, thyroid dysfunction, low estrogen, poor quality cervical fluid and polyps or cysts on the cervix."
Personal Note from the Author
I love being a mom. My heart breaks for the women who desire to be a mom or to have more children and cannot. I was there myself, when I suffered through a miscarriage before my second pregnancy, when it took 16 months to conceive my third, when I was at high risk for pre term labor, when I suffered through 2 more miscarriages. I do have six healthy babies because I took matters into my own hands, discovered the reasons why my body was not conceiving and why I miscarried, and went into preterm labor. Using simple natural methods, I cured the issues and got pregnant. It is my desire to share what I learned with others, so the path to motherhood may be shorter for you.

How to Get Pregnant by Learning How to Increase Fertility - Lori Ramsey
Foreword
Women are the ones rightfully responsible for the health and maintenance of their bodies. As a society, we are often too reliant on others for information. The purpose of the material outlined in this book is to educate women on how they can obtain harmony, health, and happiness through this important stage of their life. For many, fertility and pregnancy are challenging beyond what should be a natural and basic ability.
In How to Get Pregnant, Lori Ramsey gives clear and concise information based on knowledge and personal experience. This book encourages women to educate themselves on the complex balance of fertility. Lori explains how to enhance the natural fertility processes through basic knowledge of the female cycle. In this way, we can better understand why imbalances occur and how we can create harmony in the body through proper nutrition and natural supplementation. Her lifestyle and attitude is a great example for women wanting results.
Every woman wants to attain fertility, but a foundation of health must come first. The information in this book will assist women in achieving these goals. Lori’s unique understanding of natural resources and her own experience on balancing her body is enlightening.
In addition to reporting her own personal story, Lori presents a concise step-by step process to follow in order to enhance a woman‚s overall fertility. The author has interwoven her knowledge and advice into a practical guide towards Natural Pregnancy achievement.
As a natural health care practitioner, I know that proper nutrition is vital to a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Based on my professional experience there is ample evidence that proper nutrition and a healthy pregnancy are directly related. I have also seen the consequences of inaccurate information and improper decisions. Today’s rising cost of healthcare and subsequent side effects make looking into the natural approach hopeful. Natural healing of the female cycle should be a first choice instead of an overlooked option or last resort.
Lori demonstrates the need to focus on natural occurring changes within a woman’s body and to recognize the results of stress and unhealthy lifestyles. You will be encouraged by the straightforward facts and helpful suggestions. I urge you to read this book in its entirety then use each chapter as a reference guide. Take advantage of the opportunity to read this book. It can make a difference. I feel confident in recommending this book as a resource for all women.

Introduction
Is getting pregnant as simple as hopping in bed and hoping for the best? Well, yes and no. Countless women get pregnant without a second thought and then there are those who need a little help – a few hints to bring about the desired pregnancy. Instead of going month after month with no positive result, start armed with knowledge to increase your chances of conception!
First thing, you will want to find a good physician – preferably an OB/GYN. If you do not have one, find a good one and schedule an exam. This exam will ensure you that everything is okay. Your physician will not test you for infertility but this visit is to ensure that you have your annual pelvic exam; checking for cancer and STD’s (sexually transmitted diseases) and to see that you appear to be healthy. Ask your doctor about a time limit for the pregnancy to occur before starting infertility tests. Some physicians will say one year, some will say six months and depending on your age, some may say as little as three months.
Because pregnancy happens about two weeks before we actually realize, it is a good idea to practice proper nutrition. Start by taking a prenatal vitamin every day too. Wean yourself of bad habits such as smoking, drinking alcohol and most certainly drugs.
If you have not already done so, learn the basics of charting and put it into practice. Purchase a good basal body thermometer and download a chart. This helps in two areas - 1. You will know when and if you are ovulating. 2. You will know if you may possibly have an infertility problem.
A doctor will appreciate at least three months of charts if you suspect an infertility problem - this will help to come to a diagnosis sooner.
First, learn to fertility chart, how to chart your fertility signs and achieve pregnancy from the three main signs – 1. Temperature, 2. Cervical fluid and 3. Cervical mucus. Read answers to these questions – are ovulation predictor kits worth it? Discover the timing of intercourse, and discover how orgasms may affect your chances of conception. Find out the reasons not to douche. One chapter is on breastfeeding and conception. Also included is a chapter on choosing the gender of your baby. Find out the virtue of taking a break from the conception game if need be.
The next chapters will make up the subjects of nutrition and the tried and true successful hints – little tips on getting pregnant.
Then the focus of How to Get Pregnant is to shed light on the minor fertility problems that keep many women from conceiving and to offer the low-tech treatments available without a prescription. In addition, this book will help to bring about the awareness of major infertility if any exists, to prepare for diagnosis and treatment.
How to Get Pregnant will briefly explain potential male and female reproductive problems – the signs and symptoms of infertility followed by a description of the fertility tests and diagnosis that your physician may run if they suspect infertility.
An explanation in this eBook of several infertility conditions from anovulation to thyroid. The second highlight of the book is the detailed over-the- counter treatments for minor infertility. The Low-tech
cure from simple supplements of herbs and vitamins to over-the-counter medications and little helps and hints in achieving pregnancy.
Features at the end are a brief explanation of major infertility problems such as needing a sperm donor, artificial insemination, and in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
