Author Ruth Remington is also an abstract/surrealist visual artist. Ruth's paintings can be found at Jeanne Frost Studio (www.jeannefrost.com) Writing has been in her bones since the childhood fun of writing stories and plays to be directed and performed for audiences ranging from family gatherings to small town events. Writing now has become a passion along with her visual art, applying words like colours, shaping stories and poems, like notes to music. My complaining voice sounded terrible even to me. I must work on that one. This day was going to be a long one, I could tell. Mum was determined to paint this house by herself if necessary. She went on ranting and waving her hands as she drove the two of us to the paint store in town.
