Melissa Mercer is a passionate individual, both in her work and her family life as well. She is happily married to her hero and they have a beautiful daughter together. I have to thank my therapist. Through their advice, my healing process began. I would have never had the strength to talk about the things that kept me functioning properly, even in written form; if not for their advice. I finally realized that I didn’t have to suffer in silence anymore and I cannot express how bright and beautiful my world has become.

A world full of so much taint and corruption has been filled with a bright beautiful contrast of colors. There is life after abuse. I am living proof of that.

I also want to thank all of you for reading my words. My simple words of thanks could never truly express how much it means to me. Every time I place my hands on the keyboard in-front of me. I am defeating the bad guys one by one, and having all of you fighting along with me: just makes us all stronger.
