About this ebook

Some of us have been misinformed about what it takes to succeed.

We were taught to work hard, never give up, and pay our dues with blood, sweat and tears in order to get what we want.

And lots of us have been practicing that – slowly but surely driving ourselves into a state of overwhelm and exhaustion.

It turns out that was bad advice.

For a variety of reasons.

Because working hard for what you want doesn't actually work that well. It's unreliable, it's a long road there, and it isn't much fun. Not to mention we we wear ourselves – physically and emotionally – in the process.

There's a better way to bring your dreams to life – and although it seems radical it makes perfect sense from a physics perspective and is also proven to be highly effective. I'm talking about doing less to get more. About embracing the art of doing "nothing" while still creating lots of good "something."

It's called Slacker Manifesting: the art of chilling out to get what you want.

If you've been driving yourself to exhaustion without getting the results you really want, this book is for you.

It covers what slacker manifesting is, why it makes all the difference in dreams coming true, and how to practice it.

Including how to get past the "yeah buts" that keep us from being willing to slow down and enjoy life more:

>> But don't some things HAVE to be done?
>> If I don't do it, no one will.
>> Isn't anything worth having worth working hard for?
>> Others will think I'm lazy.
>> It sounds too good to be true (that doing less results in more).
>> I don't know how to change.
>> I tried it and it didn't work.
>> I don't have the freedom to practice this.

It also includes slacking success stories in a variety of areas of life, including weight loss, a cancer cure, a financial windfall, gaining new skills, knocking out to do lists, finding a lost dog, and more.

I wrote Slacker Manifesting specifically for:

>> people who don't understand why they're exerting more effort than ever but getting less than fabulous results
>> for those who unknowingly sabotage their success by working too hard for it
>> for folks who are afraid that if they let their guard down and enjoy life a little, they'll fall behind
>> and for people who might understand (theoretically) that working harder doesn't work – but have a hard time trusting and practicing it.

The reality is many of us are trying very hard to create what we want, not realizing that trying hard actually keeps us from the happy ending we want.

So if you're curious about another alternative; if you'd like to let go of the struggle; if you suspect there's more to life than you're experiencing; and if you would like to investigate a way to enjoy the journey while STILL getting the goods, this book is for you.

Slacking your way to success requires a willingness to drop old habits, to ignore the opinion of those around you still doing things the old way, and to consciously restructure your beliefs. But the rewards are well worth it.

And if you've already read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences here on the Slacker facebook page.

My sincere thanks for playing with a new way of getting what you want.

The world will be a more more satisfied and happier place because of you and your slacker ways!

Good Vibe Coaching isn't about me – it's about you – but here's a little personal background: For years I did everything the way many still do … struggling with job changes, relationship breakups, financial upsets, health problems, etc. Little did I know I was making life harder than it needed to be! After building a "successful" corporate career in financial services as a Certified Financial Planner and retirement plan specialist, I soon lived the rut of autopilot. I didn't know there was any other way to do it, until one day a homeless guy invited me to hit the road with him and the invite appealed! I realized something might not be right with this life I'd built if giving it all up to wander the streets sounded like a good trade. It was one of those turning point moments that led to a heartfelt search for change. (Thank you, homeless guy, for the wake-up call.) Soon afterward I discovered the Law of Attraction and became passionate about sharing this secret for life transformation. Trained at CoachU and a certified Martha Beck Master Coach, I created Good Vibe Coaching for the extreme privilege of helping you remove the obstacles keeping you from the life you want. In fact, I co-founded Good Vibe Coaching Academy in support of other coaches' success as well. Author of " The Magic of Pray Rain Journaling," contributor to Jack Canfield's "Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction," co-author of "101 Great Ways to Change Your Life, Vol. 3," and regular contributor to The Catalyst Magazine, I also speak on deliberate creation to various groups across the country. This is your official invite to challenge your beliefs, revive your fantasies, know that anything is possible and harness the Law of Attraction to get what you want, once and for all! For those interested in more details: I'm an animal lover and volunteer for my local animal shelter as a foster mom. Nature is my touchstone and I love hiking with the dogs! I'm an avid movie-goer; Mexican food is my staple; yoga helps me stay grounded and feeling good. Chocolate, music, classic cars also top my list of favorite things in life. My studies over the years have included personal finance, diet & nutrition, astrology, feng shui, angels, chanting and kinesiology, among other things. Pleasure to meet you!

Introduction

Way too many of us are working way too hard for what we want.

We struggle, we sweat, and we grind it out. Sometimes getting results, sometimes not.

But we keep up these ridiculous routines because it’s what we’ve been taught about how life works and what’s expected from us. This is simply how it’s done.

Society at large will reinforce for us that if we’re not working hard for it, we shouldn’t expect to win. Hard work is revered in our culture. We glorify those who struggle their way to the finish line. And we dismiss or even look down on those who get lucky or are handed success without earning it.

That’s fine for those who want to do life that way.

But for the rest of us – for those who are tired of being so tired and having so little to show for it, for those who are open to a more effortless and enjoyable way of living, there is another way.

It’s not popular and it’s not championed as the hero’s way.

But it is a way that works and it is a way that won’t exhaust you in the process.

It’s not for everyone.

It requires you give up handed down beliefs that the only way to win is to fight for it.

It requires you to connect with your inner wisdom and be willing to
