Elvira cast a spell at Buffy, trying to hit her with a powerful aphrodisiac spell. That worked one time, causing Buffy to get so horny and lovestruck she threw herself at Gloria. Buffy's hands and lips were so distracting Gloria couldn’t stop Elvira from doing some other nasty bit of mischief before she left.

Gloria cast a blocker spell, that deflected the spell into the three thugs. For a second the two witches turned to stare at the thugs. The spell was designed to enchant a woman’s libido, so both were interested to see how it affected three big, brutal men. Mostly the men just groaned and trembled. Finally, their eyes locked on Buffy with intense lusty interest.

"Are you sure, Gloria," Buffy said. The vampire slayer was as tough as she was pretty, and quickly recovered and was ready for anything. "These guys look like trouble to me, even for a witch as powerful as you."

Gloria decided to leave the spell intact, since now they were way too distracted to be a real threat. She thought Elvira would free her minions of the spell muddling their minds, but instead the wicked witch made a rattlesnake appear between Gloria’s feet. The Good Witch grabbed the snake with a supernaturally fast hand and threw it away.

"Oh no, they're no threat to me," Gloria said. "But you and your friend are a distraction. It would be easier for me if I didn't have to worry about you."

The Good Witch Gloria watched with a disapproving frown on her beautiful face. She stood atop a five-story office building overlooking a small, heavily wooded city park.
