Dear Reader:

These are heartfelt testimonies from youth of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. You most likely have heard of our nickname—Mormons. Either way you’ve heard of us, it is important that you know we strive to follow the teachings of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I’ll start by explaining how this project came to be. I was praying in the Oakland Temple, a beautiful structure of the Church, dedicated to making covenants between us, the Lord, and our predecessors through ordinances. I was pondering over using my time and talents to help build The Kingdom of God here on the Earth. Publishing, writing and graphic design are all talents of mine, so when I received a distinct impression that I was to produce a testimony book that centered around the youth of the Church, it made sense.

This happened before the e-book boom, so the task was daunting. How would I accomplish something so wonderful on little or no money? I went forward in faith and put up a website to receive submissions. I prayed that I would receive entries from around the world. Prayers were answered.

A few years went by, and I was side-tracked, but always remembered my promise in the back of my mind to make this book. I met many wonderful members from around the world through Facebook. I was impressed to call for volunteers to help me finally fulfill this project. I received quick, excited responses from my friends. They helped greatly through social media, and I am so thankful for their excitement, their testimonies, their service, their love.

I want you to know that this book is intended to be read by all ages, and by peoples of all faith, or by those who have not found faith. I know that teens are touched by messages from their peers. Please especially pass the word about this book to the teens in your life. It is important for us all to read these messages. These testimonies talk on what is most important in life--about our worth, how no matter who we are we are children of God and He loves each and every one of us. You are a special child of God.

Without further ado, check out what our young people from the world have to say. I am humbled by their wisdom, their maturity, their sense of self, their love for others.
