    Denis Oleary (1961 - ) was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. In 1979 his family moved to his father's hometown in Ireland for a year. Denis remained in Ireland, and traveled extensively throughout Europe, North America, and Asia, over the next few years. He married in Ireland and stayed there until 2008, when he moved back to Australia with his wife and three children. He now works in Brisbane in the travel industry. Denis has published several short stories, and one historical biography. His first full-length adventure novel, set in the African mining industry, was published on Smashwords in March 2013.
