Collectors of antique and historic arms often wish their guns could talk. Even where provenance is known, it is understandable to wonder where the individual carried or used the gun. Did they have to use it in anger? Did it save their life? Such information is rarely known, so it is always a pleasure to handle something of historic importance that we know not only to whom it belonged but where and how it was used.
