Introduction : About The Book:
Welcome to the How-To for Indie Musicians. You now officially have a very valuable book in your hands that will help guide you through your musical journey. You will find a ton of helpful information, and I guarantee you learn a lot of things you didn't know before. I just want to take a second and make myself clear before you continue. Due to the fact that I am an indie musician myself, I know what it feels like to take on indie music projects. I write and record hip-hop music, so my formats for recording vocals will be based on hip-hop standards. Don't get me wrong though, I will give insight to other genres like R&B and Rock as well. Everything besides the recording part of this book can be applied to all genres of music. You would promote and hip-hop records the same way you would promote a rock album. The information contained in this book can be applied to any form of music. My overall goal for writing this book is to help inform those who are serious about their music, and really trying to go somewhere with it. Well lets just get down to it already shall we.
What Is Music
A lot of you would be able to give tons of answers to this question. I doubt any of you could name five people that you personally know who doesn't like or listen to some form of music. Music is a way of life
