It all starts with a simple truth. All success begins with a vision. I define vision as the use of internally focused energy directed toward the creation and achievement of an idea. I believe we all possess the ability to create vision. It is that small spark of imagination which exists in each of us. I’m not sure where it is located or even what makes it work. But I am sure that each of us possesses it and it is readily available to us. In that place within us where imagination exists there is an enormous amount of untapped energy. When we develop an original idea or think of achieving a specific goal we can actually feel a surge throughout our bodies. It is tangible and is actually felt. Our thoughts actually fuel a physical reaction. That energy, if understood and properly utilized, creates a wave upon which each of us can place our God given talents, hopes and dreams riding them to a specific destination within a specific timeframe. It is a platform upon which each man and woman is allowed to build their lives and reach their maximum potential. That foundation is built upon ideas, visions and commitment. It will take us to unbelievable places and assist us in achieving unbelievable successes provided we understand its existence and utilize its force.
This force is what transforms us. It is the energy through which we are influenced to take a specific path and achieve specific goals. Thus, I refer to this force as Transitional Influence. This energy transforms us in and out of situations and relationships which influence our ability to succeed in reaching our goals. It is real and I believe exist in everyone. It was bestowed on and within each of us even before we even took our first breath. It is the energy that made us grow in the womb and provided the tools for our journey to birth. It is what makes us kick when we have not even been born and ultimately what starts our journey into what we define as life.
After a half century of life, countless personal experiences and literally hundreds of great successes and dramatic failures I believe unquestionably that I am a living, breathing example of its existence. The goal of this book is to enhance an understanding of what it is and how it is capable of changing our lives.

INTRODUCTION

What is it in your life that ignites a passion within you? Is there something you’ve always wanted to do or somewhere you’ve dreamed of going? Believing To Achieve explains the difference and provides practical insight into living the life some only dream of. Its’ all about understanding Transitional Influence and its’ affect on human behavior.

Transitional Influence is the power that turns dreams into reality. It is the energy which changes negative situations into amazingly positive results. It is an existing force which can assist you in setting high goals and actually knowing that you can reach them. It is in fact what separates those who can turn dreams into reality. It determines whether we live our lives wishing we were doing something else or we actually achieve what we wish for. What I write about is not a perception or some philosophical theory. It is fact, it is real and everyone possesses it in one form or another. The problem for many of us is that we don’t really want to believe it and therefore it does not exist to us. Since we do not understand it we have difficulty believing it exists and thus can not gain access to its benefits.
