A.M. Burns started writing in high school for a way to pass the time. Over the years his writing and imagination have developed to the point where he was ready to share his stories with the world. Gods on Patrol

Hercules grabbed a chocolate-covered donut from the Crisp and Creamy box and poured a cup of coffee from the pot sitting on the rickety table at the back of the briefing room. He glanced up at the front of the room as the door opened and Thoth walked in. Hercules hurried over to his seat next to Perseus.

Hey Bro, cutting a bit tight there, Perseus muttered as Thoth stopped behind the podium in the center of the front of the room.

Hercules just nodded as he crammed the last bite of donut in his mouth.

Okay folks, get seated so we can get started, Thoth called.

Around the room other deities, demi gods and heroes took their seats. As he sipped his steaming hot coffee, Hercules noted it looked like both shifts were here today. It had been a while since he had seen Morgan, looking as good as ever with her flaming red hair spilling out from under her black Divinity Enforcement cap. She normally worked the day shift, so he assumed that she was getting off, but had been called into the meeting.
